Thank you for having us camp on your lovely farm.
The kids had the most incredible experience. Feeding the animals, horse riding, watching the cattle, buggy drives, and picturesque walks.

Dave and Bec were most welcoming and kept the all the kids well entertained with buggy rides, collecting firewood, horse and pony walks throughout our stay.
The camp sites are kept clean and tidy with lovely grassy areas for the kids to play. There is Volleyball net, basketball hoop, and other activities to keep everyone busy.
The campfire area is perfect at the end of the day and a great place to chat to the other campers.

The kids just want to know when are going back!

What an amazing experience provided here.
Such a perfect spot to stop just off the highway but feeling like you are miles from anywhere.

We saw a young family there and they looked like they were having the time of their lives with the animals and all the different activities.

The facilities are second to none and clean and highly functional, loved cooking over the camp kitchen and sharing the space with some other great people.

Nice farm stay camping experience. There is allocated camping pads where you can set up your tent and keep your car right next to your set up. The site has amenities and kitchen area with an electric bbq. For the activities is it a very kid friendly place. Lots of areas for kids to explore. There is a dam to swim in. Motorbikes, ATVs and horse riding are all additional costs buy are a fun activity.

Very pretty farm camping spot. Host was very nice. Animal feeding and petting (at set times). Stocked up on meat and eggs as well!

Our time at Alkoomi was awesome! Dave and Becc really went out of their way to make this stay a memorable one for us and our 8 kids! The kids were already planning our next stay there before we left!

We arrived in a bad light with a car problem and leaved this farm with good memories, it was such a pleasure to discover another way of life with a farm full of charm and wealth ( sitting on the swing on the top was so peacuful).
And the most thing that we will remember is the human poeple that we have met.
Thank you for everything.
Ludo and Nina.

My family and I recently stayed at Alkoomi. It was one of the best stays we had, our little one had so much fun being able to go and feed the animals, lots of room to play, we also paid for a trailer ride which included a cheese platter to head to the top of the hill to watch the sunset and it was just beautiful and amazingly set up with a swing bench.
Would highly recommend staying at Alkoomi on your next stay!

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it! The farm is very nice and the owners put a lot of love in it. Our daughter enjoyed feeding the animals. It's super convenient to get there as it's close to the highway. You can purchase grass fed meat as well which is delicious!

Our family stayed one night at Alkoomi - we loved every second and wish we had longer! The hosts are incredible and could not do enough to help you! Very knowledgeable and happy to give you insight into life on the farm.
The sites were lovely, flat maintained.
The amenities clean and tidy.
A lot of activities for the littles - my 3YO loved the horse (pony) ride as well as helping the farmer feed the animals. So quiet and peaceful.
The steaks and sausages purchased onsite were delicious also -YUM! We truly enjoyed our stay here!

Great spot for families - intended on staying just the one night and stayed for 3. Owners went above and beyond to entertain my 3 boys (14, 11, 9) and were very accommodating in all aspects of our stay. Highly recommended!!

Wholesome, rejuvenating and warm. My partner and I stayed here twice, on our trip up and back down. The farm and owners hold beautiful, comforting energy. On our last visit, we were running a little late for check in, however the owners remained understanding and accomodating to us, which we greatly appreciate. Amenities are close to the campsite and maintained to an immaculate standard. The silent sounds of nature surrounding us throughout sunset and sunrise was heavenly. Thank you for holding this space for us.

A very generous sized pitch for unpowered. A communal campfire was great fun and the camp kitchen was a quirky old barn. A great venue and they also offer loads of activities at extra costs.

What an amazing surprise we had when we discovered this farmstay !
We were looking for a campervan spot on our way to Airlie Beach and we are so happy we found your farm. Such a beautiful site and really well maintained. We found the peace and quiet we were looking for. We relaxed in the grass, said hello to the cows and horses. You can help feed the animals and enjoy free firewood in the evening. We had the most spectacular sunset on top of the hills on their property and enjoyed the bbq pack with a steak and sausage direct from the farm. As French travellers we loved this authentic experience of the Australian countryside. Plus I have to say the owners were really warm and welcoming people and they made us feel at home on their land. We witnessed them entertain the kids of another family all afternoon with different rides on their mechanical engines. Such a delight ! Thanks again for everything !

We enjoyed our time at Alkoomi farm a lot. Super tidy and well organized farm, directed by a lovely family. They care a lot about the place and that you'll have a great time there. The animals are great, especially the dogs, they are so friendly! We booked a ride in the morning, which was the best. The horses are good educated and the ride around the property absolutely enjoyable! You should walk up the mountain for sunset, it's just a 10 min walk and the view stunning! Camp kitchen and bathroom are super clean and tidy. We would definetly come back!

Best camping we've stayed so far. Very friendly owners!
Of course you can come here for some horse riding and biking, but you are also on a very peaceful and nice place to have a rest. With only the occasional dog, chicken, pony, cow, horse or the owners working hard making some noise. There is a very nice hill on the land that you are allowed to walk/climb (through a field full of cows). On the top you find a nice big hanging chair under a small roof. From here you can wacht the Sunset. But even better are the stars in the night and in the morning the sunrise.
Our evening was spend with pretty much all of the guest including the owners around a lovely campfire. The facilities are very nice and clean. There is also an electric and coal BBQ free to use.
The camping ground is not very big, so make sure to give them a call before your arrival. The places are very roomy, nice and flat.

Amazing farm stay, this play is built for kids and only 10 or 12 sites so not too crazy.
Make sure you are there at 4pm for the animal feeding, it’s a real hit with the kids! Kitchen Amenities are great, showers are ok.
Worth every scent and would have stayed longer if we were going to be local for longer.
