Mount Morgan Historical Museum

Awesome, took few hundred photos of stuff over a hundred years old, very interesting go see for yourself, only $6 admission plenty to see from horse and carts, fire engines, every invention the last 100 years or so, pretty cool displays

Enjoyed our visit very much. Lots of history. Would be nice to know who donated all the bits and pieces. So great to see.

We spent ages going through here, so interesting to learn about the history of Mt Morgan Gold Mine, surrounding areas and the pioneer times. Out the back was an old hearse, fire engine and Vespa motorbike. Very comprehensive museum, with lots to see. Allow lots of time.

I liked my visit and not everything in this museum is about the mine. A place that requires several visits. Cash only entry. Not for small children with so much to look at and small spaces.

So much information and historical artifacts. Well done to those involved with the Mt Morgan treasure.

Worth a visit if you are in Mount Morgan. Don’t get deterred by the dinosaur. There were plenty of history in there. Good for family also.

As a mining engineer i loved it. Great displays, kept me going for an hour or so. Anyone into mining and or history would love it. Hope they can get some more life back into this historical town.

A pleasure to visit this amazing Museum.
So much to view, if planning a visit allow a few hours you will need them. A very proud town with an amazing history

Most interesting history of huge gold mining industry. Original indigenous family descendants share their history prior, during settling of Mt.Morgan.

Love this place, we have been here a few times but every time is like the first, so much to see and read about. Thank you to the Mt Morgan community for providing such an interesting piece of history.

Very informative museum and brought back lots of memories.

Passionate volunteers with a lot of knowledge, many and varied exhibits which give you a wonderful glimpse into the past. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and time passed quickly.

Would recommend anyone who is visiting Mt Morgan not to miss it as it has alot of good history there We really enjoyed our time there
