The oroginal Pub burnt down about 4 years ago. They've done a great job creating an open beer garden under a marquise. Great spot for a function.

Has great atmosphere. Great staff. Robyn the Owner is in attendance most days and nights.Prices are as good as any in the city. Fantastic home made Pies. My favourite meal would have to be the Fillet Mignon with Blue Vein Cheese. Oh and did I mention excellent staff?

Great meals & very obliging staff. We arrived at 8.15pm on Sunday after hockey & kitchen closed at 8pm but they were very obliging & allowed us to order from normal menu. Would highly recommend meals & staff.

Friendly bar staff, good vibe for a day drink and you can play your own music. Vegetarian and vegan friendly menu. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Friendly staff, always welcoming. Food very good - would recommend anything on the "Chef's creations" menu. Liked it so much we had our engagement party here and they did an excellent job.

It may have burnt down but I heard the same owners are going to rebuild. I haven't been there for 5 or 6 years but the same owners were also managing it for over 20 years. I can honestly say they treat every customer like a V.I.P.
I was devastated when saw a spare block.My regards go out to Robyn & Frank ( The owners). I wish you all the best of luck getting back on your feet.

The Vic hotel is a great place, the Burdekin Rugby union club use it as there Townsville pub. On our away games we stop here for dinner and a beer or 2.

NB: This pub has suffered a huge disaster and I ask that you get behind the owners. It's understood that the beer garden is open and the Burdekin Rugby club looks forward to sharing a beer with them.

Nice to have a chat and a beer at the Vic Park beer garden once again. Still the same friendly locals and owners. Will forever remember the beautiful old pub thats gone forever now.

The Vic Park sadly burnt down in the early hours of 8 June. Lots of fond memories of meals in the beer garden with friends and family, and nearly 40 years of seeing the pub as part of the landscape of that part of South Townsville. My thoughts are with the owners, workers and regulars.

Loved the place before and still enjoy going there. Great beer and nice pies.
