Just had mackerel & Chips & drinks. Simple but delicious. Fish was cooked to perfection. Chips were beautiful and crunchy and drinks were cold. The meal was served with a smile and friendly hello. What more could you ask for. Would give that 5 stars any time. Thanks Steve n Gnet

I love Harold’s, a d especially their fish burgers! Super packed burger, can barely wrap ya mouth around em! And because they are so great, when I go back I walk in with a smile as the service is friendly and cheerful! Their fish and chips are great too. Go sit by the ocean and enjoy! I find their burgers cheaper than others sold around the Strand. Total fan here!

Just had the best fish and chips lunch. The fish was fresh and thick and the chips light and crunchy - and that was the lunch special! The owner came out and had a lovely chat with us - made our day. Will certainly be back. Cannot recommend enough!

I just finished a number three combo and it was absolutely amazing. Two battered fish, six huge and perfectly cooked calamari rings, tons of great fries, very delicious tarter sauce and a 1.25 liter of coke. I’m so stuffed and happy with my decision to visit Harold’s Seafood Restaurant. Five stars across the board.

Last night, my friend and I ordered fish and chips from here. I ordered the grilled fish plate and it was absolutely delicious. The serving size was very generous and good value. Despite being extremely busy we received our orders promptly. The real MVP was the server though. They went above and beyond to create an inviting environment and were able to remember faces to orders to create an efficient service. I’ll be recommending this place to all of my friends!

Spent the weekend in Townsville and have eaten at Harold’s twice they make an Awsome works burger service with a smile also very obliging with my wife’s dietary requirements we will be back again

We dropped in for fish and chips, having seen other people at outdoor tables - their meals looked great! We were not disappointed. The service was great, very friendly staff, and a huge serve of fantastic fish and chips, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely eat here again.

This place does a awesome serve of Fish and Chips, 2 generous peices of fish, 6 calamari rings, huge serve of chips and a 1.25L bottle of drink for $40.
I love it when fish and chips shop knows how to cook chips properly and not soggy undercooked limp peices of potato.

Been here at least four times in the last year and it is consistently great fish and chips, had to leave a review. Lovely service, fast, and so very yummy, Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, Look forward to our next visit. Thank you for providing a great meal every time.

Loved the fish and chips, crumbed barramundi was really crispy and fresh. Good size content cooked to perfection, chips were great no overlaying taste of oil the batter was nice and crisp. Would love to go there again.

Our lunch was fabulous & so fresh & tasty . We had a fish burger (crumbed) & grilled mackerel , fish & salad. Even the salad dressing was delicious . Great food !! Thankyou

Staff were lovely. The price was $50 but the sizes of the mackrel were big. Chips were lovely and crunchy. The calamari was delish. The nuggets were a little overcooked but were tasty all the same.
