La Cucina Pizza & Pasta House

One of the most delicious pizzas I've ever had in my life. Incredibly delicious, flavorful, arrived fast and hot. Still comes cut for you. I absolutely recommend it.

Ordered pizza on a very busy NYE tonight and sure it took a bit longer than estimated, but was worth the wait! Generous toppings, really fresh and delicious. Well done to the team who were putting up with a few patrons who were not very nice! Happy New Year

Excellent pizza. The base is so good. Could only eat half of a 15” although I wanted to keep eating. Will be back.

Pizzas are lavished with loads of toppings. I gave 5 stars because of that and awesome flavour of the food.
Two families one with the lot and a topping of chicken and the other a mix of sea food, olives and pepperoni.
This is a pizza shop not a restaurant, that's why I gave it 3 stars. And lastly the staff are friendly and very easy to accommodate to change the toppings if so desired.
Only one other pizza shop I go to, now we have two to choose from

Great pizza, loaded full of fresh topping. Base is firm enough to eat a slice from a family size without the aid of cutlery. Best value pizza I have found in years.

Thankyou Vincenzo and your staff for a great dining experience. Warm friendly Italian service, with a great food selection. Our meals were perfectly cooked and presented. Drink menu and Cocktails were first class, unfortunately we could not try the ricotta canoli, because you ran out.
We need to come back to try some.

Just moved to Townsville and we had a wonderful experience. The pizza was delicious, we tried the four corners pizza and they so generous with the toppings, which is rare to find! The dough was yum and soft while the edges had a crispy bite. The service is great, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to try the pasta next time!

Food was delicious. It did take a fair bit longer than we were told but it was new years eve and they were swamped with orders so can't complain.

NB : Am very pleased to report that as of December 2023 ( when we returned to purchase food from this iconic store), that good ol' " La Cucina" is definitely back on track again.
The pizzas were at a very high standard.

These pizzas certainly do live up to their Google search. We googled best pizzas in town & La Cucina Pizza & Pasta House popped up. We aren't from the area & to feed my family of 6 is a massive task. The jumbo size pizzas here are amazing. Packed with ingredients & flavour. You only need one to two pieces & you are full! Definitely worth the money.

Ordered a family size pineapple and chicken pizza, so far the best pizza I've had in Townsville. The toppings were generous and the sauce was flavourful. The base itself tasted fresh. Would definitely order again. (:

Wow!!!!! Some of the most amazing food I've ever had. The dishes were well balanced, and I loved the texture of the pasta. Absolutely the best pizza's the crust was good and the toppings were fresh and tasty. Do yourself a favor and go eat that freaking amazing heavenly pizza!!!!!

Favourite Italian eatery in Townsville! Their puttanesca is top-notch and the pizza is also very good! Dine-in or takeaway, has never disappointed!

Had an awesome meat lovers pizza and a fettuccine bosco pasta. Loved the pasta more than the pizza. Awesome service and quantity with quality. I was worried about quality when the owners changed. But the lovely couple who own and run the store now, Work wonders with keeping up the service par with quality. Bit pricey$$ than large chains.. but who wants to eat cardboard for $.

Delicious pizza! Sometimes can get a bit busy during peak periods on Fri/Sat nights or footy season (testament to how good this place is) but well worth the wait. Call up early to order after they open and you will have no problems picking up your takeaway in time for family dinner. Not sure what their dough recipe is but I want it, always perfectly cooked with generous toppings and great quality ingredients (the owner mentioned they source a lot locally, even driving out to pick up mushrooms from a local farm each week!) great family run business and I don’t get my pizza from anywhere else, keep up the great work La Cucina!

I just had the 4 corners pizza family size (didn't eat it all was way to big) was absolutely delicious. I have been there before but was a few years ago, good to see that nothing has changed amazing food plenty of toppings. I will definitely be back thank you to the friendly staff and the wonderful people in the kitchen that make the magic happen.

First time there for us. 35min wait, but it IS Friday night 6pm!! Long wait = popular. Tip: Naturally, ring through your order and pick it up. Menus are on their website. We lobbed in on spec. Pizzas are relatively expensive, I think, but, are they good!!? Yes!! We had a Large Marinara and you do get Prawns, anchovies and garlic (plus the obligatory tomato type base and cheese, of course). We aren't huge eaters, and it was more than enough for the two of us. Will we be back? Definitely. Good value. Table service not available just yet (Covid restrictions), but they said, very soon.
