This place is hot! Literally! The food is awesome, with such varied tastes and degrees of heat, chili heat, that is! Great venue, full of memorabilia and stuff you just can’t help but want to photograph. The service is pretty fast and cheerful. Great energy and vibe…and very popular too. Oh, did I mention the great views over the ocean to Magnetic Island as well???

This place is the place to be for good beer and good food! You simply can’t beat the view of the water and island while enjoying lunch or dinner. Love the verandah seating and it’s always great when there is live music. It’s always fast service even when they are busy it’s always a treat to come here and relax!

Friendly staff, beautiful location and chilled atmosphere and incredible food. The calamari was my favourite from anywhere - such unique flavours. The taco bowl was delicious and the nachos were sensational too. The serving sizes here were big! Perfect for someone like me. Left here very full and never thought I'd get so much in such a nice location.
Highly recommend this place.

This place is pretty awesome - the food is great and it's matched with some seriously stunning views. It's the kind of spot where you can enjoy a good meal and just get lost in the scenery. Hello Aussies! 🇦🇺 If you’ve seen one of my prior reviews I’m sure you’ve become aware of how much fun I’ve been having in your amazing little slice of heaven. 🇺🇸🫡Longboard is no exception. Came for the sunset views of magnetic island and stayed for the amazing wings, brews and service. We were sat immediately and as the cool breeze crept up our hostess allowed us to take a different table inside for our friend who didn’t have a coat. Another fun joint where you can order at your leisure and drink to your pleasure! Speedy food service and everything came out delicious, piping hot and craving satisfaction commenced. Fun party spot to take your date and have an excellent time. Couldn’t recommend it more!

2nd visit to Townsville in 9 weeks, the food again was spot on, the views amazing, it was clean and tidy. But the absolute highlight from last trip was the barman Adrian, we went up to order our lunch drinks and he greets us like long long friends, remembering myself and daughter where we were from etcand it made her day. He made us cocktails 🍸 and did it all with a smile, this guy has customer service down pat 🏅

Nice pub in front of the water. Customer service was on point, friendly and attentive. Tables and decorations are really nice. Food has a good presentation and flavour is there, it won't dissapoint.

The best restaurant in Townsville, the staff and the location couldn't be better. The staff is a wonderful group of people and the location is beyond beautiful. I can't recommend Longboard more!

The service was friendly and fast, l got my reservation very wrong but the team still accommodated us with a smile. Great atmosphere and location for a drink and meal to watch the sun go down. The loaded fries were so plentiful we couldn’t finish the dish. We will return, the menu has changed in the last 2 months which the website didn’t reflect when we attended on the 22/12, it may now. We will return the prices and menu items are reasonable for what is on offer with the great view.

Walk in lunchtime meal.
Location is fantastic, with a stunning view.
We were there early, and the food took very little time to get to us.
Nachos were good, as was the selection of tacos.
Beer selection is decent, though had expected more than 375ml glasses from the tap. They do state it up front, just a feeling that a pint would be fantastic at that location.
Did it get chance to sample any cocktails, but hope to in the future.

Great place to go with friends or family for a meal and drinks. Food is great and staff are friendly.

Great place to enjoy a dinner right near the water . You need to precook and select one of the sitting times due to these crazy Covid times.
Once at your table you order drinks from the bar and pay, order food separately and pay.
Food was good, service quick , and atmosphere great. Didn’t feel rushed .

Brilliant and professional service from the staff here. Great views and location. The food was amazing. i had the Asian crispy chicken burger, which was delicious. However, found it a bit too messy to eat with a large amount of dressing in it.other than that highly recommended place to attend.

Went here for a quick bite to eat and a couple of beers. The day was really hot and the wind was blowing so this venue was nice and cool.

It's right on the water with amazing views.

Pros:
- quick service
- nice staff
- lots of finger food
- lots of beer choice

Recommendations:
- Maybe a wind break for the outside left area, something not to obsteuck the view but makes it more comfortable to dine.

Fairly overpriced, 22 dollars for cornflakes in a bowl, I mean they gotta pay the lease on the place somehow since it's on the water at the strand. But seriously?! Yes it's in a prime spot. But the food isn't that awesome that it needs to be priced that high. Directly across the road from here you will find more affordable options.
