I loved this place. 🥰

I had lunch at the fish shop called Rock Paper Scissors. I didn’t expect how my fish and chips would be presented. The menu offered their classic “cone.” To my surprised, it was literal. They came in a cone-shaped box.

The chips wasn’t seasoned with salt, but sachets of salt was on hand. This was way better since I was able to season my food to taste.

I needed my iPad charged urgently and the business owner was pleased to help.

I had ice cream at the Hopscotch Ice Creamery. Generous servings of a double scoop, so I was happy.

And the tropical setting oozed a relaxing ambience. What’s not to love?

I came with my dad for Sunday breakfast and we had one of the breakfast pizzas. It was awesome. And my dad is still raving about how good it was.
And the coffee was really good too.
Thanks all round. Will be visiting again when back in Townsville.

What a great find along the Strand!! Love how these 3 businesses work together. Great setting, coffee and food. Reasonably priced also.

Pizza is amazing, the Lady in the awesome Santa hat and sunnies had the best customer service I’ve seen so far! 10/10 recommend :)

Absolutely beautiful venue next to the frontage of the Strand. Bright colours with bright smiling faces, the staff members are lovely and happy to help! Food was cheap in relation to portion and absolutely yummy! Had food mainly from hopscotch but will come back to try out Checkers and Rock Paper Scissors another day. Only negative part is it is a little hot with the outdoor seating, but you can’t change the weather!

Both Rock, Paper, Scissors and Checkers Pizza top notch for their price point in the eat out or takeaway market. Good quality fish and chips and the Chicken pizza is a fantastic flavour and great value for $15

Yummy variety of ice cream flavours. Nice waffles and drinks including coffee and champagne from hopscotch. Checkers pizza are nice and then rock paper scissors fish and chips are also good. Relaxing seating area with pretty plants

The best fish and chips I've had for ages. Crispy battered fish(cod) and great chips all cooked to perfection. My wife had GF battered fish and enjoyed it as well.
Will call again on my way home for one last taste.

Great location, fine if not exceptional food and has the big advantage of opening from early to late and not closing after lunch. lots of dog friendly outdoor seating. Has become a regular spot for our family.

Great service. Ambience was nice with the little booths for privacy. Food was very reasonably priced and very tasty. The portion sizes are good and the meals are well presented. Will definitely return.

Hidden Gem! 3 yummy places in one for our whole family’s choices! Loved the bubbles given to our little one to keep occupied- a weekend favorite 🤩

Best breakfast with excellent service. They even welcomed our dog with a doggy treat. We will return.
