We came here for our post elopement dinner, and it was superb. The ravioli and the steak was to die for, we even went back the following day to order it again. Staff are super friendly, and the he negroni (without vermouth - they’d ran out) was actually incredible. 10/10, will definitely be coming back

So many people recommended this restaurant. Very happy we went there on our last night! Really nice atmosphere, our waitress was very friendly and the seafood platter was sensational! Best meal we had on our trip! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Fantastic place to come for dinner after watching the sunset at Horseshoe Bay. They do take bookings for busy weekends. The duck salad and vegetarian curry were both delicious but the sticky toffee pudding was the real star of the meal - SO GOOD. Great ambiance, friendly service and tasty food.

Had a 7.30pm booking we had the best service at restaurant in a very long time the food was amazing. We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive. Would recommend this place and would definitely come back thank you it made my birthday special

The place is very nicely decorated and the food is OK for the price paid. They also sell paintings and pieces of art!! They are beautiful!

A great menu with lots of choices, The fried barramundi was so fresh and crisp, absolute perfect batter! The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection, also loved the dumplings and the Ravioli was also delicious, also perfect fresh pasta and delicious sauce 👍
Also recommend the month before Xmas cocktail if you like spiced Rum!
Definitely recommend this place for the whole family!

We had a fantastic night at Barefoot Art Food and Wine restaurant with the ambience on the back deck, the attentive wait staff and the amazing food.
My partner rated the eye fillet and veg 10/10. It was not your average veg either with roasted veg and fresh greens.

After a great experience a couple of weeks ago, we decided to dine at Barefoot for our final evening on the island after living there for two months and it did not disappoint! My partner raves about the seafood platter and ordered this for a second time saying it represents great value for money. I had the chicken and mushroom pasta which was stunning. All the staff are super friendly, helpful and hard working. A great atmosphere and a great place! Would 100% recommend if you are ever on the Island.

My family and I have had two wonderful meals here in the last week. The service was friendly and professional despite how busy they were. My 2 year old could play with toys under the stairwell which is always a plus. We had scallops with Parma ham, ravioli, fish cakes, dumplings etc. All were very good to excellent. Thank you Barefoot Gallery for all the hard work you put in - you are a special part of Maggie Island.

What an absolute gem Barefoot Art Food and Wine is. Not only is it in the most perfect location, the ambiance is spot on.

Barefoot is a great place, considering most towns have been devastated and still recovering from covid. Not a lot in the Isle is open (sadly Google hasn't been updated by owners or those who came before us to find that the place doesn't exist anymore). Barefoot is putting a lot of effort into providing a good service.
Fantastic, great value seafood platter, enough for 2-3 hungry adults. All of the reviews are spot on with this.

My partner and I went to Barefoot tonight randomly after we thought we would check out Horseshoe bay (staying at Nelly Bay) but when we got there most places were closed, maybe because it’s a Sunday night. On a whim we went to Barefoot as it was open and it was beyond expectations. Had no idea what to expect and the food was absolutely superb! The wait staff were also so lovely and made for a beautiful experience. Best meal we have had on the island so far and also better than many places I would usually go at home in Sydney. Highly recommend if you are visiting Magnetic Island. Cannot wait to go back! (Forgot to take more photos because the food was so delicious)

It worth coming here just for the home baked bread let alone the great seafood dishes on the menu and make sure to ask about the special of the day. We'll be back on our next trip

I got a barra fish burger and a sticky date caramel pudding for lunch, and each serving was heinously generous!
The food was delish and the value for my buck was excellent.
I will be back!
