Craig was absolutely amazing! Felt very safe with how well he explained everything to do with the kayaks. He also had such amazing knowledge of magnetic and palm island, as well as the culture and history of the indigenous population and history of the events surrounding world war 2. It was short insightful and helped us all appreciate everything a lot more. We did the sunset tour and saw turtles and the entire experience was beautiful, could not recommend more.

We had a fantastic kayaking tour with Magnetic Sea Kayaks! We did the morning tour around Horseshoe bay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Craig was an excellent tour guide who not only led us kayaking but also provided interesting history commentary along the way. He spoke about the way of life for the indigenous community in the area and had a wealth of knowledge about the area in general. We could not recommend this tour enough! A must do on Magnetic Island

Craig was very knowledgeable on the two islands’ history as well as the local flora and fauna and he was very professional. He also took some really nice pictures of the group and sent it to us, which was so kind of him.

The weather was good for the adventure and Craig provided us with info on how to properly and safely kayaking as well as get in and out of the kayaks, which was good to learn. The vests and kayaks were provided, which helped a lot.

It would be amazing if there were longer options for kayak tours (or hikes!), as he has so much information to share!

Didn't know what to expect when signing up for this tour and totally glad we did. Craig was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the history with the indigenous cultures between Magnetic and Palm Island, as well as WW2 events. He was very reassuring throughout the whole thing and even brought a drink for us all when we stopped at Whitelady Rock. Would 1000% recommend trying this out thanks to Craig and it was a wonderful experience on a gorgeous sunny day too!

Wonderful experience with Craig. We did the 2 hour kayak tour (8:30 - 10:30 AM), and we learned so much about the place’s aboriginal history, it really gave a meaning to this very touristic place. Craig is super nice and don’t hesitate to talk to him as he is a very interesting person. We loved it 5/5 thank you again!

In the end of 2019 we visited Magnetic Island & went on this sunset tour. It was absolutely amazing & we loved it!
We were a bit confused where to meet as we were the only ones but he called us. We've had a lovely private tour, Craig loves to share information about the island, its nature, fun facts and just anything you want to know about. He is relaxed & in for a laugh.
He offered us to take pictures &they turned out amazing &just how I hoped they would! He sent these to us free of charge but I'm not sure if that's still the case.
We've seen turtles come up for air & jumping fish.
A great experience which we would absolutely recommend! ☆

The morning kayak tour was really fun and a great way to see a bit more of Magnetic Island than you usually do. Craig is informative and friendly, and a fantastic tour guide as well as kayak instructor. Learned a lot even though I live in Townsville and have been to the island heaps of times, would go back and do another kayak tour!

What an epic tour! My partner had been wanting to do some kayaking during this holiday to Maggie and had some pristine conditions this morn for an 830-1030am session. Craig is an incredibly knowledgable local, I didn't expect to learn so much about the island / surrounding islands' history as well as Aboriginal culture. Thank you for providing such an informative session. Was great doing a 2 man kayak as my partner steered & guided from the back while I'm 25wks pregnant and was at the front but didn't have to paddle too much. Wear ample sunscreen, wide brim hat, cover up your arms & no need to bring much unless you want photos, then we had a dry bag handed to us to secure for the ride. Would recommend! Thanks Craig!!

Had such a relaxing time! Definitely worth trying if you're staying on Maggie for a while or even a couple days.
We were blessed to see a few turtles pop up and finished with a champagne on the rocks with a beautiful view!

A real highlight of our week on Maggie! Craig was exceptionally warm and knowledgable, and taught us so much about the history and people of the island. His connection to country and community really shone through. It was a very, very special afternoon that we'll remember for a long time. If you're thinking of booking, definitely do!

This is a ‘must do’ activity whilst on Magnetic Island.

What a great experience! Don’t forget your sunscreen.

Plenty of parking and stop at the pub afterwards for a refreshing drink.

Thanks Craig for the awesome sunset kayak tour. Your local knowledge was so interesting and informative, I’m glad I joined the tour. Seeing the sealife such as turtles and spotting sharks (safely!) also made the trip worthwhile. Learning about local aboriginal customs and cultural sites was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour and this company!

Craig's knowledge and stories made an easy-going kayak trip all the more enjoyable. He is very accommodating and great communication. We saw heaps of turtles, ospreys and other wildlife. We had the back story on many First Nations sacred sites and history. A highly recommended trip.

Fun way to explore horseshoe bay. Craig was very friendly and informative. He was also very reassuring and made us feel safe even though we’re without much prior experience on the kayak. Put your worries aside and do the tour, it is very manageable and the views are gorgeous. Also appreciate the insight and stories into the indigenous way of life, traditions and beliefs that Craig shared with the group. A definite must do if you’re visiting.
