The historic Paringa Bridge in Renmark Paringa, built-in 1927, remains operational to this day. The bridge lifts at 9.30 AM and 2.30 PM daily if large vessels need to pass through, although we didn't witness it during our visit. It's well-maintained, and you can safely walk up close to this impressive structure.

This place is really worth checking out it's a donation run by volunteers Warren was excellent 👌👍 he really puts in has a vast knowledge and intertaining we were there quite some with Warren and all the other interesting relics. The black stump is near by also

Actually the Paringa Museum just past the bridge was amazing! The volunteers were fantastic, the museum was so interesting, even for the kids! And watching the bridge open..totally recommend 👌

Very beautiful. Lovely gardens around. Have a rail museum closeby. Must visit. Visit lock 6 too, very nice

Nice place to take pictures with a neat garden surrounded with trees. Ensure that you go 5 minutes beforehand else traffic is not allowed and you may miss the passing of house boats underneath. You could also do a picnic during this time.

Very cool bridge . Opens at 9.30am and 2.30pm if required for house boats to pass through.

This is one of the lifting bridges in Australia. A part of the bridge lifts up to the point where ferries can go down the bridge. This lifts daily at 9.30 am and 2.30pm.
