Five Rivers Lookout

The best view of the Cockburn Ranges, Wyndham port and surrounds. Well worth the drive to the top. Plenty of viewing areas with places to sit and take in the view.

Picnic area on top is well maintained with 4 BBQs and numerous picnic tables. Also a single public toilet onsite.

Highly recommended vista ...

We visited Five Rivers Lookout in 2018 for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time, in 2021, we brought friends with us and took a light dinner to cook on the BBQ (shelters, seats, 4 × gas BBQ - two were working).

There were a few people there to watch the sunset. They departed soon after and we had the place to ourselves. Taking a BBQ dinner was worth it and added to the positive experience.

The views of the rivers and swamplands are extensive for about a 270 degree arc and the topography changes colour as the afternoon sun introduces depth of shadow. On this day, smoke from Kununurra burnoffs enhanced the sunset.

Adding to the moment were rock wallabies, complete with joeys, who came looking for water from a container near the rock the wall. They were timid but prepared to come fairly close.

Beautiful view, clean park, amazing at sunset today. Not suitable for long vehicles or caravans due to the incline and sharp bends

Absolutely worth the small time to drive up .Spectacular views in one of Australia's hottest towns

Excellent spot, an absolute must visit spot in Wyndham. Good quality bitumen road leading to the top, with plenty of spots offering all round views of the rivers and town site. Some shady areas for picnics and a short walk trail at the top.

Amazing vista point, steep drive. Carry water bottle if hot. Visit during sunset or sunrise.

Really nice lookout to watch the sunset! You will see some cute rock wallabies hanging out near the edge. Probably Wyndham's best attraction!

The photos do not do this place justice. The sheer vastness of this place and the view is one of the most spectacular vantage points I have witnessed. It is a must see.

Awesome views, you can see for kilometres. Well worth the drive.

It's a steep road up to the lookout and there's a sign saying no caravans. On the way to the top there's several places to stop but the trees obscure the views. At the top the views are fantastic and you can easily spend half an hour looking. There's a toilet and bbq there as well.

Beautiful view from the look out.. worth the drive out there.. you can see te old town below too... nice board up there with history lessons on it.. very cool

Well worth the drive up the hill, even in a coach. All passengers were stunned by the beautiful views.

Very nice on sunset. Little rock wallabies can be seen at sunset. Gas BBQs and a drop toilet up there. Parking for cars.
