Distinct Property Management

Monique was very helpful, she actioned my request to get a pet and got into contact with the owner, it took only a few hours for my request to be approved. She kept me in the loop through the whole process. It can be hard to find a good property manager so I really appreciate Monique’s support and service.

I've been a few years with Distinct Property Management and although there has been a bit of changeover with managers lately (which some unfortunately weren't responsive / on top of matters (see their bad reviews - I experienced the same), but I had one other manager that was before all the changeovers was also good), my current manager, Monique Alar, has been super responsive and is on top of matters very quickly from the start. This gives me piece of mind, I highly recommend her, and am very fortunate to have her as my manager (which I hope will last for a while and I don't get another changeover again!). My recommendation would be to ask for specific managers that have had good reviews like mine: I hope overall the company has finished with all their changeovers and it'll be smooth sailing for me again.

I had quite a poor experience with a previous property group prior to Distinct taking over my property. I’ve been renting my apartment for about 3 years now, in September 2022 my oven stopped working, December my property was swapped over to Distinct and since being with Distinct 2 managers have taken over my property and only today June 2024 has my oven finally been replaced. Lynn Reyes has been fantastic in getting everything sorted out and has done so much more for me in the last 2-3 weeks than any of the property managers ever have that I’ve had so far. She has been persistent in getting my oven fixed and her communication has been fantastic across all boards between myself, the electrical company and the landlord. I believe that’s where I was let down before, electricians were sent out to have a look at the problem and when I relayed how the call out went and that the issue wasn’t resolved that feedback wasn’t relayed back to anyone. I give major props to Lynn for all her involvement and a huge thank you to her in fixing this 1 year 10 month long problem.

Great experience with Distinct property Management staff. Shout out to Lynn Reyes, she is a very professional, helpful and responsive property manager. She deals with issues promptly and communicates effectively in a very respectful manner.

Tahlia and her team were amazing. We switched to them after an unhappy experience with another property manager. She rented our house within a week and her communication/level of service was second to none. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new agent.

I have been very pleased with the services provided by Khriezl Isip and the team at Distinct Property. Khriezl is very responsive, professional, and always address my concerns promptly. From handling maintenance requests efficiently to ensuring the property is well-maintained. She demonstrated a high level of dedication. The tenant selection process performed by her & the team has been smooth, efficient and stress free.

Her communication has been clear and consistent, and I appreciate her proactive approach in keeping me informed about any issues or updates. She always willing to work with me to resolve problem quickly. Overall, I've had a positive experience and feel confident that my property is in good hands.

Lynette at Distinct Property is a superstar. She is fairly new in her role, but she hit the ground running. Her communication is top-notch. I recently moved into a new rental property that didn't have an NBN connection, and I wanted it connected straight away as my job is 100% remote. The individuals with whom I was dealing were a nightmare, not to mention how I had 5 property managers in under 2 months. If you ask me how, I won't be able to give you an answer. It's something I've never encountered before. All I asked from them were simple questions around NBN connectivity and requested they be presented to the property owner, but this never came to fruition until Emily came to our place for the 2-month property inspection. When I voiced my concerns around the poor communication, Emily was very sympathetic and showed great concern. After attempting thousands of times to call the people who were introduced to me as property managers, there was virtually no answer to both my phone calls and emails. So, I rang Emily, who then went and actioned my request right away. On that same evening, Lynette called me as Emily promised, and 2 weeks later, I am writing this review with my internet up and running in the house. A process that took 2 and a half months only took 2 weeks, and I have not had any communication issues since. Such relief and assurance. Lynette and Emily, I hope your company looks after you well so you don't have to leave. You are superb at what you do.
