We knew we’d be looked after the second we walked through the doors. Staff were lovely and welcoming, food was to die for. Octopus was a personal favourite.

We always come here when our friends are in town as they always request it and it’s never disappointing!
The main waitress is always busy but very friendly and helpful.
The food tastes good. We’re glad it’s still here after all this time!

Had a great meal here. The staff seemed extremely busy but still provided fast service. We ordered 3 dishes and all were amazing and had their own unique flavours. The place was full which wasn't a surprise considering the quality of food. Would definitely come here again.

Walked in to this lovely restaurant tonight without prior booking. As we entered, despite being so busy and full with guests, the attendant immediately acknowledged our presence and prepared a table for us. Although tucked in a corner and not much space, I can’t complain. We received our food and it’s absolutely delicious! We ordered the slow cooked lamb wrapped in foil and bbq prawns. Beautiful Greek flavour! The smoked eggplant dip and pita bread are also must try! The serving is big and we left so full and satisfied. The customer service is excellent and homey. Definitely coming back!

Neighborhood gem, the combination dips were delicious, one of the best we've had. Generous servings on the food, cannot fault everything we ordered. Been a good dining experience, will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

I recently dined at Kafenes Greek Restaurant and I must say, I was blown away! The Southern European atmosphere was simply enchanting and made me feel like I was in the heart of Greece.

The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was top-notch and exceeded all expectations. I would definitely recommend the grilled octopus and the lamb shank - both were absolutely delicious!

What a great restaurant- the food is first class and authentic.
Reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly- you feel like you’re going to a friend’s place for dinner.

My husband and I had dinner there and we're definitely going back! We had 4 vegitrian plates and they were all so so delicious!!!! The lady who served was very lovely and helpful.

I came here on 02/04, and had a Salmon Special not on the menu. It had Salmon, potatoes, some kind of pickled cabbage, salad and chilli prawns. It was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had, I cannot recommend this place enough. Will be returning ASAP to try something else. Great service, too.

The bbq octopus entree in was steep at $30 but at $39 per kg of octopus, it's a fair price. All in all, $105 for me and my lady, and it was the best dining experience in recent years. Please try it and if something seems overly expensive, please take into consideration what the restaurant has to pay for the ingredients before reviewing them badly just based on price.

Delicious authentic Greek food and music. Had a really lovely meal served by friendly staff. Will be back when I'm next in Sydney. Highly recommended!

When you walk in, it has a nice traditional feel to the place. The waitresses are very friendly and kind and service is fantastic. The food... my goodness, its perfecto!! Most would never order this dish, but get the Quail - its absolutely superb. I get it all the time. I travel 1 hour from my home to come to this place and I've never been disappointed. Order also the Loukoumathes, they're great too. In fact everything's nice in there. Definitely must go, and as a fussy typical Greek, I'm quite particular with home food and these guys do it very well.

Well, 12 months later and we were back (15 Mar 23) and everything was just as good as last time. The all-time favourite for our group.

I love this place....i love the fact the food is fresh, sometimes not all things on the menu are available, but this is exactly the proof they are not going to serve you with frozen things.
I had fish of the day, and it was served in a generous plate with lots of baked veggies.
It was fantastic, tasty, and not heavy at all.
The service is great, there are a few ladies who are super friendly and lovely.
Definitely recommend it

Amazing food and brilliant service! We were in a rush to eat before a concert and they were happy to take our order and serve our food quickly so we wouldn't miss the start. All the dishes we had were really tasty but the octopus was a definite stand out! Thanks again to the staff!

Awesome, authentic Greek dining experience. Even the way the kitchen and counter are set up give you nostalgic Greek vibes. The food is exceptional and staff are lovely. Can't wait to go back.
