Above and beyond expectations, and the best bank ive ever used. Customer service over the phone is only exceeded by the in branch team. Ive worked for the big 4 and banked with all of them plus some.. But HSBC well.. They really are a cut above the rest.

As someone who has mostly lived in a developing country, I've had my fair share of terrible services. Nothing of which came close to what I've experienced with this HSBC branch today. I called and made an appointment to open an account about a week ago through their customer service number. A few days after that I received a call from this branch confirming my appointment for today. The officer confirmed my appointment and advised the documents I needed to bring. We even exchanged texts. My appointment was at 12pm. I was there by 12pm, the branch was opened but locked, the lights were on and I tried to look inside but couldn't see anyone. I texted the officer, no reply. I called him like 12 times and it went straight to voicemail. I checked with the mall and they said they were supposedly open. I then called the customer service general line and they had no idea what was going on and that they shouldn't be closed. I waited 40 minutes and left. Now knowing how horrible their service is, I'm glad I didn't open an account with this branch and there's no way I'm opening one with HSBC now.

On both my mortgage and credit card application, they’ve ‘lost’ the sensitive documents I provided and made me resubmit. Won’t consider HSBC again in future.

Absolutely terrible bank. Online website and phone customer service says the highpoint branch is open. After making the drive to highpoint, sign on the bank says that it is permanently closed.

this branch don't even have direct number to talk to someone !!??.. and you have to make appointment to talk to the tellers about your enquiries .. like .. opening a new bank account !.. really !!??.. i just walk to another bank then .. :3
