Gov's Sports Bar - Karma Rottnest

5 stars for being one of the few places on Rottnest to get dinner after 8PM. Kitchen closes 8.30PM most days, and 9PM on Saturdays. Mains are around $25-$30, quite large servings. Wood fired pizza was great! Steak sandwhich was pretty good, was great in toasted Turkish bread. Would not recommend the seafood marinara, there was very little seafood and disappointingly it wasn't fresh, tiny frozen prawns instead of the large juicy prawns like on the pizza. Overall would recommend!

great typical bar. great music and atmosphere. if it wasent more the bouncer staring at me the whole night it would have been a great experiance. also orderd the bucket of wing and loaded chips. chips where great but the wings had a very oily burnt taste to them.

This is by far the best place to eat on the island. The pub is normal, unlike the toffee nosed Quakka inn. Food is exceptional in taste and price.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this place when we first walked in, but it beat all of my expectations. Great food, cold local beers, and quick service.

Excellent bar, the staff are amazing and very quick.
We had dinner here, the pizzas were yummy and the nachos huge, a bit to large to be honest but lovely.
They show the footie nd had live music on the Friday night. Great crowd were in so heaps of fun.
This bar might look a bit dodgey from the outside but it is anything but.
Go and enjoy yourself.

Great little pub! Excellent time killer when you're waiting for your ferry as well! Staff were accommodating, we ordered hot chips and they were really good! TAB and pool table as well. Guttered we missed the trivia night!

Fantastic little sports bar. Friendly staff and management. I went in there to watch the cricket for an hour and ended up staying for 5 hours. Whoops. I didn't eat there, but the food looked great. Beer prices are good. There's a smoking area on the balcony in which you can take your drinks. Lots of the locals gather here for drinks. They have a trivia night on Tuesday and open mic night on Thursday and quite often live bands on Saturdays.

Had my daughters 18th dinner there on 27 January with 19 guests and we all had a fantastic time... they couldn’t help us enough.. set up beautifully for the special night and they were so accommodating... great food too .. highly recommend for functions

Great place for a Beer , lots of Meal options & With wood fire pizza. Pool table and live sports on multiple TVs & TAB machines with screens to catch the races.

Great Pub on Rotto!

Great atmosphere, delicious food and local beers. Staff are awesome and prices are great for Rotto! Keep it up Gov's Bar- you've got it right!

I came here as a last resort during the off season because everything else was closed, the food was great and the beer was cold. They also had AFL + NRL on the big screens

Lovely atmosphere and vege burger option! Great service and recommendations. The burger comes with chips! This isn't Grill'd and that's a good thing!!!

This is a great spot for a drink or a meal. A favorite place on the island to watch the footy. The localy brewed larger is worth a taste.

Great place for a good night out. Food was very nice and service was fantastic good help with ramp to get wheelchair in there was great live music playing.
