Comments: all their pastries were so deli! I tried the salmon bagels,lamb pie and some pastries shown in the photo and mocha&latte for coffee. Their food and coffees are amazing and the price was actually reasonable. Will be my one of regulars!

Pretty good, the original Grumpy Baker shop was a bit further back closer to the railway station and that shop stayed open to 6pm and had lots of original "home cooked" style food there.

Great relaxed atmosphere with yummy gourmet pies, great coffee, delicious breads and pastries, and friendly service.

The kiddies corner is also enjoyed by the kids.

It was a very cute cafe in waverton. Friendly staff and the most yummiest muffins you could ever eat. We tasted 2 of them one was berry and the other one was choco-chip. We also had iced latte which was also soothing.

Love to go here for good bread whenever we're in the area. Amazing bread and pastries!! We had shakshuka and it came with a variety of pickles and salad which were very delicious! Nutella cronut was so flaky and chewy inside! Great outdoor seating which makes it very dog friendly too.

Their pies are my fave! Flakey crispy pastry on the outside and flavourful delicious filling inside… I always start here for a pie along with coffee before my scenic walk!

Lived in the area for 5 years and the highlight of my working week was often walking down to The Grumpy Baker and getting a fresh croissant for brekkie. Best bread, best pastries, fab pies - such a delight

Only got 4 stars for service because they forgot to bring out my pue but gee it was worth the wait. One of the best pies I've had in ages.

Awesome Like much, the Chicken Snitzel burger was so good, the soup of the day tasted amazing, both cakes were super yummy !!! Yea was also really good - if your in Waverton there worth the small walk from the station !!!

I think possibly the best bakery I've been to the pies were Fantastic had the goulash pie almost to Die for also had the berry scroll just Fantastic

Had a warm pie, sausage roll and fig and walnut toast. Lovely little cafe at waverton with quick service. Food was lovely. Staff were very friendly.

Best Shakshouka I had recently. The fresh baked scrolls is flaky and rich.

I have visited Grumpy Baker many times over the years for coffee but have only recently tried their pastries, and, oh my gosh, they are perfection. Their raisin scroll is my favourite pastry in the world. DELISH.

Consistent with the other Grumpy Bakers I've been too. They don't sell the AWESOME Apple pies that you gan get from Bilbin GRUMPY Baker which would be a great addition. Coffee and muffins are top notch

Delicious food, good coffee and a chill vibe. Great food options for dine in or take away. I had the Hummous bowl (added avo) and a take away sausage roll and both were AMAZING!

Highly recommend their pies and other pastries - the place can get slightly crowded.
