Bird Chicken Shop Manly

Had lunch deal, ¼ chicken and salad.
My chicken breast was surprisingly still moist and juicy inside.
I love the rub seasoning in chicken skin, however in my personal opinion, I like deep marination penetrate the meat under skin as well.
Salad was amazing! Row kale and broccoli is amazing!
Garlic sauce was thick and creamy! Came with your chicken as side sauce.
I like also the French fries with their own home made chicken salt seasoning, served on the bowl.
Btw, this shop also has a liquor license.
Having chicken and beer it’s not a bad idea at all!
Please also check their daily dessert special, and they serving coffee also to be enjoy with your dessert.

Even vegetarians have awesome options with the Bird salad bar. The dude behind the counter always works so hard to get us exactly what we want. Love.

Just popped in on my way home from the beach and got a 1/4 chicken and salad. So reasonably priced for what you get. Salad was a really fresh Greek Salad, veggies were super crunchy. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The guy that served us was really friendly taking us through all the menu options. Excited to go back and try the chicken pies and chicken curry on a cooler day.

Favourite little place to grab a bite to eat in Manly. Really tasty, tender chicken sandwiches or quarter / half chickens and delicious fresh salads - great flavorsome, fresh food. I had the kale and broccoli salad with quarter chicken with a glass of wine and my husband had the sandwich with a beer, both really good. Service is also warm and friendly, with the owner going out of his way to help and talk through the options. Perfect for a bite to eat in the courtyard under the umbrellas or for a take away option for a picnic on the beach. Highly recommend and will be back!

I pride myself on being a chicken connoisseur and I love that at Bird I can eat REAL quality chicken while knowing it has been locally sourced and ethically produced. Owner seems like a really genuine guy as do the rest of the staff. Just a great place to eat and I really can't recommend it enough. Everyone who didn't enjoy it is lying. Also schnitty was AMAZE.

Went here for lunch today and had a chicken lunch with roast potatoes and Salad. The food was excellent. Great to see this type of sit down chicken shop on the heart of Manly. The price was very reasonable as well. The roast chickens they use are antibiotic and hormone free range and you can tell. Delicious chicken. And love the slaw and salads. So great to have a chicken shop with healthy yummy side orders available. The kids love the roasted veggies too.
