Food was definitely bang for buck - we tried the mango lassi, naan, segwaala, goan curry, biryani and vindaloo, and everything was a winner. Definitely speak up if you need service and you'll have a great time. We'll be back!

I’m an extremely hard person to please with food, I have so many allergies it’s difficult. The waitress showed us dishes that didn’t contain nuts and reading it I was sceptical I’d like it. When it came to the table I was very impressed. Tasted delicious and I avoid allergic reactions. Very happy 😊
Partner enjoys his meal too. The restaurant itself is very plain but the food makes up for it. Only thing I wish they’d change is the seating by the window. It’s very hot 🥵

Best Indian restaurant in the St George Area, have dined in and ordered home delivery and both times were fantastic, the food is fresh and made to order which I prefer rather than takeaway shops where the curries are sitting there all day. My new favourite local Indian, I used to regularly eat at another Indian shop in the area but this is far better. After trying it once I cant stop! I now order weekly from this restaurant, I highly reccomend!!

Food is simply delicious. Period.
You get street parking and if you time it we'll you can get parking (830pm seems a good choice). Service is excellent we got our dishes pretty quickly and hot. The flavours were amazing, rotis soft...well overall finger licking. Will certainly recommend this restaurant. The ambience is very homely and well addressed. Walk-ins are accepted.

Was hoping to see soem indo- chiense items. We enjoyed the dal / paneer / parathas / lemon rice / aloo gobi items

Service was bit slow as one attendant managing so many patrons. Overall highly recommend it if you like Indian food. They don’t have the typical butter masala taste to the dishes

Best Indian in Sydney, other cannot compete. I have a long history of ordering here. Always 5 stars. Since moving away from the area I've never been able to find anything as good!

It's BYO and the ladies at the front are always smiling.
The food is cooked to perfection, and swiftly too! What an incredible team!

Lovely, great service and great food.... would dine here again and again. We tried vegetarian and meat dishes and all of them were better than some of the 5 star rated restaurants that Ive previously dined in.

Hands down one of the best Indian cuisine spots around the area. Amazing food which came quickly and tasted amazing. Great customer service as well, I would definitely would recommend this place for any hungry birds.

Tried Tadka Indian Restaurant for the first time after a friend recommended the Biryani. Did not disappoint at all. We enjoyed our lamb biryani, which had plenty of rich & tender lamb throughout & potato & eggplant curry. They were busy but our meals came out in good time & service was gracious. Excellent value for money too. Looking forward to next time!

Honestly have this place in my go to list when I feel like eating out. Great service and the good portion sizes are great for the price.

Ordered from Menulog and honestly the best Indian food I've had in Sydney. Had butter chicken, Goan fish curry and palak paneer and it was all amazing. The fish curry was a standout but really the rice was also just so fluffy you could eat it by itself. Definitely will be ordering again.

Fantastic food over the years. Have been visiting for over 10 or so years now, and not sure if its ever changed hands in terms of management, but the quality has remained a high standard throughout.

Having not eaten there in a while, I went back there in May-21, and the food did not disappoint.
The mixed grill starter is a must, as is any of their Biryanis, which I put up there as some of the best in Sydney in terms of authenticity.
Prices have increased slightly, but at a justifiable rate given the high quality of the food.

A strongly recommended place to visit.

I was here on Sunday night. Simply loved the chicken biryani and special tea (chiya). Customer service was great and the waitress really welcomed us with her delightful smile.

Definitely have the naan fresh 👌 Chicken tikka masala and mango lassi is out of this world! Will be coming back again and again

My local Indian in Mortdale has closed and we decided to try this one at Riverwood. Very pleasantly surprised.
The entrees were great and the mains excellent. When we asked for hot we got hot. When we asked for mild we got mild. Very unusual, ha ha.
The curry sauces were the right texture and the meats tender. The mix of spices were delicious and the portions substantial. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
The dine-in experience was pleasant and the staff very helpful.
Quite a few people in to eat which is always a good sign.
Will be making this restaurant our go-to Indian, both for dine-in and for delivery.
