What an amazing place to stay.
Cottages are set amongst nature, very clean, cosy and equipped with everything you need. The spa bath was big and deep and sooooo relaxing.
Chilling out on the lounges just watching the sky full of stars.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing and unwinding time out, this is the place.

Stunning location and gorgeous house.
The helpful host sorted out a minor issue (our fault, not theirs), on arrival and made us feel welcome.
I'll be staying again next time I'm in the area.

Great location, cabin accommodation was great, great fire pit with wood provided, clean amenities, nice bbq to cook Brekky, ideal place to relax or get busy discovering the area.

Lovely place to stay. Nice and quiet and the cottage was so clean and tidy. Loved the room and set up. Ken was quick to replace the gas for our BBQ upon our request. Great service and great price. Highly recommend.

Kathy and Ken take great pride in their business. The cottages are clean and well provisioned. Beautiful well kept gardens. Dinner was available from a limited but delicious menu. Great hosts plus pet friendly. It was well worth the stay and visit.🌺😊. Highly recommended 👍.

We were looking for a nice getaway in the vicinity of Gympie. We were searching for somewhere comfortable to relax, not too far out of town, and with a good breakfast.

What we found was Amamoor Homestead, which ticked all these boxes and more!

The owners Ken and Kathy were absolutely lovely and greeted us on arrival. The self-contained cabin (one of three on the property) was spotlessly clean and private. It came with a comfortable queen sized bed, a generous couch that can fold out into a second bed, and a kitchen with a dining table with 4 chairs, with a full-sized fridge (and a bottle of fresh milk, not long life!)

The big bathroom had a gorgeous spa bath, and as we had requested a mobility-friendly cabin we were very happy with the space to move, hand-holds and fold-out shower seat.

Out on the wide veranda was a table for two and a gas BBQ plus our very own fire pit out on the lawn in front.

The most delicious breakfast was served up on the veranda each day at the “big house”, and Ken and Kathy moved us to a different spot on the veranda each day so we had a different view.

And the views were simply stunning!

We also ordered dinner in the veranda for one of the nights we stayed - and both the salmon and steak we ordered were delicious! So much fresh and tasty food!

Lastly, this little piece of paradise was only half an hour away from the heart of Gympie, making it perfect for any adventures you have planned during your stay.

We had the most relaxing and peaceful stay and would highly recommend Amamoor Homestead.

Lovely accommodation and location. So peaceful you just have to feel relaxed and Ken and Kathy are wonderful hosts, so obliging and friendly. Ken is fantastic in the kitchen, our brekkies and dinners were excellent. Thank you for a great couple of days, we will be back.

Beautiful views and beautiful people looking after us during our stay. A lovely bedroom and ensuite; immaculately clean and fresh. We felt welcomed and well looked after. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Thanks for a great stay!

thank you both for a wonderful stay. The cottage was so perfect...quiet, beautifully furnished, with every small detail attended to! We so enjoyed toasting our marshmallows, and because the rain had cleared we had a beautifully starlit night. Perfect ambience for our wedding anniversary, and the dinner was superb. Your "special surprise" for us was something we will never forget. We will be back for another special experience.

Me and my partner stayed here last night as a last minute night away and we couldn't be more happy with our choice of accomodation. These beautiful cottages are owned by a lovely couple who really have perfected the finishing touches to make your stay amazing. Our favourites were the fire pit and chairs to watch the sunset over the mountain, and the jet spa bath!! This place definitely ticked all the right boxes for us, will definitely stay here again soon :)

The homestead is a place of beauty and relaxation. After working long weeks and taking care of four kids I was given the opportunity to have a night alone. The rooms are generous. On arrival I was greeted at the main homestead and given instruction to locate my cottage. On opening the door to my room i had champagne and a cheese platter waiting for me. They were absolutely divine. As the night grew cooler I watched a beautiful sunset and retreated to the spa bath to warm up a bit. After getting into the most comfortable pyjamas, my dinner arrived. It was so generous in sizing. My steak was cooked perfectly and the hospitality was amazing. I asked to be left in my room to get some space and so the only times I was contacted were to bring food or to ask how I wanted my food. It was fantastic. They offered to light my private fireplace, but I decided to stay inside instead. The rooms are clean and the views are amazing. The birds and wildlife are both amazing to see and hear. At breakfast my Husband and son came to collect me. I knew I was pushing it for time but I asked if they could squeeze two more in for breakfast. They could. The breakfast was an amazing bacon, egg, tomato and sausage, with toast, cereal and mango. I would absolutely love to come back again. My only regret was not taking my husband. Because I think I really would have enjoyed the time cuddling by the outside fire toasting some marshmallows. I would recommend this B&B to anyone and would love to return. The picture shown is the view from INSIDE my cottage at about 6:30am, the lovely firepit for two outside my room at about 4pm, the spa, the cheeseplatter and bubbles, the bed and finally part of the bathroom. Picture perfect.

More info: Rooms are self contained with all cutlery and plates etc. There was fresh milk, tea, coffee and sugar in the room with a kettle, a BBQ and inside hotplate as well as microwave. The bathrooms had fresh towels, washers and toiletries. The bed was clean. The grounds were picture perfect. The outside fireplace is romantic and beautiful. The cooking is lovely.

Very friendly and attentive hosts. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. Just like staying with family. The steak dinner was simply amazing. Can't recommend Amamoor Homestead highly enough. I will return!

Very cute cabins with outdoor fire pits. Rooms are clean with kitchenettes and air con. Bbq available on verandahs and dog friendly. Lovely hosts and very quiet country side setting. Excellent stay.

Mum and I had a lovely stay at Ammamoor Homestead, thanks Ken and Kathy . It was relaxing, clean, quiet, comfy bed, spa (awesome by yourself with bubblebath), great meals, wine, (dinner and breaky), lots of birdlife, (and 2 chooks and one lucky duck), he is so cute and comes running for a feed daily, a huge dam, nice place to chill with your "well behaved" dog🙂, a good uphill walk to the tower. We will be back. On payment we recieved a free night, and 20% off the next stay. If I had 1.3 mill I would buy it🙂🙏And, book direct, then "all" the $ goes to the owners🙂.This is our new little get away.

What an amazing find Amamoor B&B was for us. From the moment we arrived we were offered relaxing and incredible hospitality and accommodation. Thank you so much Ken and Kathy. Oh and our dinner was divine....best steak we've had in ages. 🙌🏼

Beautiful house and big garden with fruit trees and dam. Nice and peaceful countryside surroundings.

Stayed in one of the cottages. Very peaceful setting. Friendly host. Great for stargazing. If able to I highly recommend the walk to the top of the hill, the view is beautiful.
