Lagoon Pocket Bed & Breakfast

Shane is a very welcoming and accommodating host. The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was tasty, healthy and beautifully cooked. It was very relaxing to have the assorted animals as part of the establishment. Our dog appreciated being able to stay.
Easy drive to Gympie (but far enough to escape the highway noise).
Would highly recommend this.

Amazing place to stay, simply blissful accommodation. Clean room and comfortable as; so much space to move even outside which was great. Beautiful gardens and views. Main house is beautiful and Shane (owner) is just wonderful, so helpful! And makes a delicious breakfast! Thank you so much Lagoon Pocket Bed and Breakfast! We will be back

Fantastic location in rural setting with excellent, friendly owners. Great breakfast and enjoyed meeting Danny (a marvelous 4 legged friend). The bedding was extremely comfortable, especially after a long days traveling, and the room was extremely well presented along with the extra large bathroom! We wanted to bring "the shed" home with us! Well worth the short drive out of town.

Located a few miles SW of Gympie this is a great place to stay if you like tranquility and good value. Our room was large, spacious and well equipped for a disabled person. The bed was comfy too. Breakfast, with lots of choice is served on the verandah by the friendly and very accommodating host. We had a great stay and would recommend it. Dogs are welcome.

Host Shane has done a magnificent job on the property. Very spacious accommodation , immaculately clean, beautiful setup and a huge bathroom, great breakfast and a nice quiet country setting.

It is with great reluctance that I am writing this review.....if I wax too lyrical then Suzannah and James will be overwhelmed by guests and we might not be able to re-book next time we want to!
Again it was a more than lovely experience to stay there in a clean, spacious, well-appointed room, mine hosts were excellent chefs and breakfast was a delight. The place must attract alike-thinkers because our breakfast companions (and hosts) were always interesting conversationalists.
Sadly, I must give it a shining 5 star rating, though I am probably cutting my own throat in doing so.

Stayed one night with the partner and our 2 dogs. Room was private, spacious and spotless. Peaceful and serene surroundings. Delicious breakfast. All the finishing touches a weary traveller could hope for!

We didn't want to leave. It was quiet, scenic, and the animals were beautiful (Archie was our favourite sorry Angus). At night we took a telescope out and watched the milky way and found constellations as it was so clear!!

The breakfast was gorgeous and the owner was so lovely. Loved every second and checking when we can come back.

My dream holiday is travelling Australia, staying at B&B’s, because I always hope that every B&B will offer the same standard of friendliness, charm and sheer comfort offered by Suzannah and James at Lagoon Pocket B&B. Their B&B accommodation was spacious and luxuriously comfortable, the breakfast on their verandah was great and our little dog Bella was made welcome. Staying at Lagoon Pocket was the best experience any traveler could anticipate.

Really nice B&B. Bathroom is huge. Breakfast was tasty with a great selection to choose from . Well organised through booking.com just a shame this B&B won't be around for much longer. Thanks for having us.

Had the pleasure of staying here over the weekend and must say that it was a wonderful opportunity to reset. From the moment we arrived we where treated like your family would treat you if you where visiting. Nothing was ever to much to ask. On our second night myself and my colleagues i was staying with wanted to have an early night we asked if we could potentially cook a bbq and where greeted with a big yes and offers of eggplant from the garden and delicious homemade spicy sauce our hosts even joined us for some wonderful conversation which was lovely. We where treated to an early breakfast the next morning as we had to take off early and i was so thankful for the warm feed on a fresh morning. If you want to get back to nature, feel grounded and even potentially just take a break from the outside world this is the place to go. I look forward to coming back and enjoying the fire pit that is under development!

We went for a romantic getaway and this would have to be one of the best experiences we've had in a long time .... Suzannah and James are the most welcoming, warm and accommodating people we've ever met ... so rare to get wonderful clean, spacious, pet friendly accommodation (with upgraded beds also now I believe!!) mixed with such wonderful, friendly and humorous hosts ... many a laugh to be had over the daily breakfasts on their private verandah with a selection of wonderful home-cooked goodies to choose from!!! Then to top it all off ... sharing another beautifully cooked roast with our hosts at night and a cheesecake to die for by Suzannah who so thoughtfully shares her recipes with her clients :) As lovely as Gympie was and all there was to do around the area, it was our hosts that made our getaway so very enjoyable. We can't recommend them highly enough!!!

Lagoon Pocket B&B is a lovely rural location that was the base for a family holiday that took in shopping on Hastings Street, Noosa, Horse Riding along North Shore, Beach time in Mooloolaba and browsing Eumundi Markets. It is a peaceful location well positioned for access to the Bruce Highway.

Breakfast was so good (Cooked on the barbecue by James under Suzannah's supervision) that we decided to have our evening meal there too. Our hosts served us up a delicious home cooked lamb followed by Suzannah's own Toblerone mousse which was to die for.

Highly recommended.

Gympie Gem!
Stayed in August overnight with my mum. Such a nice setup, very clean with high quality sheets/bedding. Breakfast in the morning was all home made goodies. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Child friendly and very private bed and breakfast. Room and ensuite separate from the house - more like a motel but with a cooked breakfast, personal service and relaxing gardens. Wifi to your room and only 10 minutes into Gympie.

Excellent establishment. Beautiful garden and peaceful surroundings and Shane is a great breakfast cook. Don't bother with the hotels in town call this place.

It's a really welcoming place. Shane is very friendly, and he maintains the rooms and gardens in immaculate condition.
