Silver Dragon Chinese Restaurant

The Silver Dragon restaurant is one of the tastiest restaurants in the area. The staff are super friendly. You will leave with a happy belly and a smile. Their ranbow beef is super tasty and a bit crunchy, too. Their combination chow mein is a delightful mix of flavours in every bight. It is totally worth visiting again and again. They have also won many awards for their food.

My local and go to Aussienese restaurant. Great food and great value for your dollar.

Yes...it's a real Ozzie country town Chinese restaurant ....not changed much over the years re decor, BUT clean.
Food....ALWAYS give you a good serving. Though was a little disappointed re the soups. Came in VERY SMALL soup bowls...though delicious.

Popularity creates its own problems. Luckily we ordered ahead. It’s peak season and there are so many people waiting - some haven’t ordered and some have even walked out. The reality is that it doesn’t matter where you go, if you haven’t already called ahead or pre booked (or even if you have), you’re going to have to wait. Our order finally came (we were told 30 minutes but it was more like an hour) and it was worth it. Beef in black pepper. Spicy/salt and pepper squid. Honey chicken. Prawn crackers (hahaha). Chinese food cooked and served for Australian tastebuds. Generous servings. Good taste. Great value. Would recommend if you’re staying around Umina Beach and looking for Chinese food - just be prepared to wait.

Beautiful restaurant and lovely ambience for dining.
This restaurant is the longest running business in umina and the food has only gotten better over the years with Raymond and his team. Everything in this restaurant is perfectly executed. Some of the meals here you can’t find in any other restaurant. My favourites are the Raymond special and the stuffed chicken wings with oyster sauce . I highly recommend the silver dragon.

I have eaten at this restaurant for 12 years.
Tonight i had the most beautiful special fried rice pepersteak mixed vegetables and a delightful sweet chicken and corn soup.
It was just as good as the first meal i ate there if not better. Congradulations silver dragon Umina Beach Fantastic .

Small, intimate space. Good for gatherings or just dinner for two. Food is, as always, spectacular.

Everything you’re looking for and more. Incredibly friendly and efficient service and excellent food.

Put in a big takeaway order during the busy dinner period (on a public holiday no less) and everything was perfect. We had several mains, some with modifications, and everything was ready in no time with no issues.

Will come again and would recommend to anyone.

The food was amazing. We enjoyed every dish. Definitely a place to visit when in Umina if your looking for a fantastic Chinese meal. Squid with ginger and shallots was a stand out.

Staff are super friendly, the food is great, the serving sizing is big. I love takeaway from the Dragon. Decor reminds me of Bali, always on holiday. Did I also mention food is Great.
