Beautiful beaches and walking tracks, it looks like a paradise! But be careful! Jelly fish and strong waves... which makes it even more exciting tho :) Unfortunately it is not easy to get there by public transport, but if you own a car or can get an Uber, please go there!

Wonderful national park for bush walk. The view is spectacular. If there’s some toilets on the way that would be great.

Maitland bay was great
Empty beach, with a great bush walk
A beautiful coffee shop at the entrance
A great place to let the kids play with waves as is not dangerous at all
A lot of little caves covered with dry branches from ocean

Little jewel for sure!!!!

Great place for adventure, long way to lookout. It is better to take it by driving a car, it is easy to reach the destination. Fresh air and enjoy the beautiful sound of waves.

This was crazy!! Such an amazing place, I’m not a big of a walker but it was an easy and wonderful walk, the views are just stunning! Highly recommend coming here, I came here with my 84 year old grandpa and my 3 year old and they were great on the walk

Maitland Bay in Bouddi National Park is an absolutely stunning location. The hike down to the beach is a bit challenging but well worth it - the views along the way were breathtaking. Once you get to the beach, you'll be blown away by the crystal clear water and pristine sand. It's the perfect spot for a swim and a picnic.

The natural beauty of the area is simply breathtaking - the surrounding cliffs and lush greenery create a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Maitland Bay for anyone looking for a beautiful and secluded beach getaway. Just make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen and water, as it can get quite hot!

Putty beach camping area is lovely - nice flat sites and an outdoor shower. The coastal walk is beautiful but tougher going than I expected. I’d just be careful about crossing Maitland beach at high tide as it looks like the water reaches the rock wall.

Beautiful walking track overlooking the coastline. Some part were quite muddy due to the rain but the majority of the track were pretty easy with a few stairs.

Toilets were really clean and there were also bbq areas available.

Wow. What an amazing national park. There are so many things to do and places to go in this National Park. We visited so many things in the park during our visit here.
The favourites for me were the hike to Box Head. The views are beautiful.
Tallow beach was so peaceful and beautiful we loved it.
Putty beach has a beautiful walk along it and the rock formations were amazing.
Marie Byles lookout was brilliant as you arrive into the national park. Well worth a visit. I loved it here.

Did the coastal walk to the first beach which is just under 1.5km via Gerrin Point. Trail is very well maintained. Really great ocean views. You'll work up a good sweat for that 1.5km due to a few uphills but the beach is a nice reward. If you JUST want to get to the beach without much effort I suggest you park at the Maitland parking then its a much shorter walk. On our return walk we saw a few schools of dolphins at Gerrin Point on a perfect blue sky day, that was a treat!

Lovely beach with nice trails(3km one way) to explore throughout the day. You have to go down some stairs and wade across the water to reach the beach so make sure you don't mind getting wet! Definitely a great place for a family day.

Amazing place to go hike or camp in the area. We chose the former and the view there was amazing. The hike to Maitland bay was great as you go traverse through the coast, into the bush and on sand to see an amazing beach before. Shade there is limited but there are spots amongst the rocks where you could set up your umbrella and enjoy the beach. The walk there also has you walking across small bridges and scaling up the hills. Definitely worth a visit and will try camping the next time we go on a break

A great spot for a day trip with the family. I didn’t realise but you can go into the Putty Beach entrance of the National Park and park closer to the hike. We parked outside and ended up walking extra. We were going to try and do the hike to MacMasters beach but it was pretty long. Also to begin the hike, you go across Putty Beach on the left…we were a bit confused at the start. Overall, a great spot, keen to come back again to do the whole thing.

I love this National Park. The best Rock formations and Sandstone for days.
You can walk a little or alot, but remember once you start, you're coming back the same way.
Great views as you walk along the many beaches. The views are spectacular.
You owe yourself to go and see. Oh yeah, please wear proper shoes, don't wear thongs and take water.

No wonder why the First Nation people have so many cultures and traditions related to red and orange colours. Short walk from putty beach take you to some of the most colourful rock ever seen.
