Ordered an eBay item and selected the newsagent as click and collect. Showed them my collection email with barcode and collection code, showed them my ID which is all the collection email said I’d need. Then they’ve refused to hand the package over. Said I need to give them my mobile so their system can send me a text. What bull. I went home and spoke with eBay support who agreed that all I would have needed was my ID and email. So now I need to take a case with the seller who has done nothing wrong to get my money back, and the newsagent can just continue to hold the package hostage! Ridiculous! I’ve never had this problem before, so thinking the guy was on some sort of effed up power trip. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Owner extremely rude every time. When you query if he’s serving (after being ignored at the front counter for a considerable time) he says I’m stocktaking. It’s like I interrupted his daily chores! Not once has he been hospitable. He definitely shouldn’t be front of a business. He appears angry, disinterested and is rude to customers! I encountered him at Wangi newsagency too, so he may own that business and I received the same response. Extremely rude and not an ounce of customer service. I avoid both businesses now. He should take a few lessons from the newsagency at Morisset. One star is being generous!

Scammers. They will sell you non-functional products, refuse refunds, and then withdraw more money from your card. I am reporting them, DO NOT SHOP HERE

Absolutely rude and impolite service every time from one of the staff members towards my partner and I. Refuse to look for our parcels and grabs our ID out of our hands when asked to verify ID. Not recommended at all!!
Update: the rude staff member is the new owner..
