Firehouse Grill

I have dined at Firehouse Grill a few times and I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is absolutely delicious, I had the steak in peppercorn sauce and chips and it was amazing. Cooked exactly like I asked for and I loved it. The dessert was so yummy also. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Firehouse Restaurant in Mortdale, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious! From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a culinary treat. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each dish was prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. The menu offered a delightful variety, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. The staff was friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for a place to indulge in great food, Firehouse Restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

We were recommended by our friends to this place and it was better than expected. Food and service are great. We had to wait about 20 mins for our food to come but it was definitely worth the wait. We had the prawns & mussels hotpot, fish, linguine, ribs and steaks. We would recommend the Barramundi and the steaks. The prawns and mussels hot pot was smaller than expected but it taste good. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely come back again.

This is my 2nd visit and tried pork Ribs & Rump, it was delicious . worth visiting and eating every food. Atmosphere is so nice and also service. It’s mostly busy but the way they look after each table is overwhelming. When ever they get a time they ask if everything is good. I recommend everyone to be here… a place and food highly trusted recommendation. Would love to try all menu.

Came here from Hurstville with friends today, because I know this store, it is very delicious. We ordered delicious bread, as well as steak and pasta, which were very fresh. The ribeye filet steak was super delicious, and the pasta was also delicious. The service staff is very caring, I highly recommend it.

First time here after recommendations from my daughter and son in law.
The food was great and good value.
I was wowed by the linguini prawns and mussels, one of the best I’ve tasted, the scallops in the shell were to die for, we ordered 2 lots They were so good, my husband ordered the bouillabaisse and he said it was so tasty.
Will definitely come back again, I can’t believe there is such a great eating place in Mortdale. So happy, this will be my now go to eatery.

Came here on a Friday evening for dinner. Got here at 5:30pm. Had a booking and advised them that we required wheelchair access, which they were, and kindly accommodated us. We ordered the chilli prawn and mussel hotpot as a share entree, seafood paella, and rib eye with an extra bowl of chips for mains. All were delicious, cooked perfectly. We were too full to order dessert, but we were so keen on getting the mango brulee. We will have to come back to try it! Also, they do not serve alcohol which I support! (But they do offer BYO)

Lovely food. Friendly service. Busy Valentine's Day and while a bit slow, the service was good and our puppies were welcome in the outdoor area

The quality of food you receive for the price you are paying is outstanding. I have become a regular at this place and have started introducing my family and friends and all they have had to say is how tasty and nice every single dish has been. No matter what you order it is cooked to perfection.

Friendly and professional service staff. Very cozy place. Decorations featured with fire rescue. It is so interesting!
Had steak and Spanish seafood paella 🥘 with king prawns for dinner. It was soooo yummy. Will definitely come back. The lights are a bit dim though. In general, we pretty like it.

Amazing service with attention to detail. Food was phenomenal.
Had the special Kobe 9+. Asked for it rare and it came out as intended. The crust from the searing was as near perfect as you can imagine.
Have the scallops with your steak instead of as an entree to level up your surf and turf!
BYO with low cost corkage.

This place is a precious gem, hidden away in Mortdale. An amazing steak with fantastic mushroom sauce and red wine jus, great chips and an actual tasty salad. The seafood linguini was good, not much to say about it. The sticky date pudding was alright.
Great service by really friendly staff. Although there was a little bit of a wait for food to come out, it was well worth it. Highly recommend this place.

The absolute best steak Ihave ever had !!! Always cooked to perfection and the mushroom sauce compliments perfectly (i always get the Ribeye). The customer service is excellent and i always feel looked after! Prices prices are very reasonable $$. If any friends or family members ask me for any top quality restaurants I always recommend the Firehouse Grill!! Every dish is excellent!!😃 20/10

Dined here for the first time recently. The food was excellent. I was full and only ordered a main (Ribs n Rump off the mains menu). Steak was really tender, juicy and cooked perfectly. Pork ribs were really nice. Sauce on the ribs was perfect. The mushroom and chimichurri sauces were spot on. So much flavour. Spent $50 per head. We sat in the second dining room next to the main restaurant. All areas were full but the acoustics were not great. Really noisy and lots of loud groups meant we couldn’t really hear each other. Recommend asking to sit outside out the back of the restaurant.

Always in for a treat whenever we visit! Excellent service and even more excellent food! Just honest great offerings made from the best ingredients and magic touch from Chef Neil. Everything on the menu are recommended and cooked beautifully! Look out for their specials on the board, sometimes they have Wagyu with marble score 9+! Pictured is the Braised Beef Cheek with mash, carrots, daikon and red wine jus, cooked to perfection as the beef just practically melts in your mouth. Never fail to stun me every time!
