Shirley’s Plants

An awesome place to disconnect in the city. They have a wide variety of plants, soaps, candle to sell. You also go and have a nice coffee and snack among nature. Ideal to work in the middle of the plants. Additionally, the staff is really nice and warm. 100% recommended

By far the nicest little plant shop and cafe in Sydney. Very cozy atmosphere, smooth coffee and all kinds of plants for sale at really great prices! What more could you ask for ☺ Can’t wait to visit again

Wow this place is awesome and Pete and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. We had great coffee and killer toasty from Pete from the cafe and will definitely making this our go to place to chill and buy some plants for our home.

Beautiful plants at amazing prices. There’s a little cafe and seating amongst the plants out the back where you can have your coffee. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. Also the music they play is so good. So many good throwbacks. Couldn’t recommend more!

The best experience thank you. My son has unusual allergies, and your staff was able to show me all the ingredients of your delicious cake so we could decide what was safe to eat. Thank you. He then ordered chai and almost missed out on a marshmallow, but brought him one when you brought his friends their hot chocolate. My coffee was sooooo good.the best. Hope you find a new spot soon. Excellent coffee and food at this place. Enjoy while taking a seat surrounded by plants and fountains. Staff are great, attentive and welcoming. Our 5yo son loves watering the plants and trailing behind Darren to "help". Well worth a visit.

Darren and Yanella run a beautiful small business and are always greeting you as you come through the door. The variety of plants, pots and small gifts is perfect. Pete makes a great cup of coffee and is always happy to see you. Pram friendly and there is food if you want to sit out the back and take a breath surrounded by plants.

Delicious coffee! Best bacon and egg roll I’ve EVER had and the customer service was above and beyond! Unfortunately I wasn’t in a position to buy plants but if I was I’d drive back here to do so! Lovely staff ❤ thanks for accommodating my needs 😌

This place is a hidden gem. The staff are always so helpful and happy to offer great advice and recommendations. The plants are healthy and well looked after. They have the option for free local delivery with purchases over a certain amount.
You can usually find a bargain in the ex rental section to add to your purchase or buy alone, Ive found some amazing plants that for the price of a coffee.
And they have a great rewards system. I can't fault Shirley's.. I'm always happy to support a small local business and this one makes it very easy to do so. ..

Highly recommend Shirley's Plants. Staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to what plants would suit different environments. Great selection of plants and pots to choose from and it was no problems to help me size the pot with the plant. The shop has a gorgeous display of gifts and artworks from Australian artists. I couldn't help but purchase some framed artwork which hangs in my house. Would definitely recommend you check this shop out.

We found a beautiful indoor plant and pot at Shirley’s Plants after visiting 3 other retailers without success. The plants are excellent quality. We had help choosing a plant, finding the right pot and even an offer to carry our plant to the car. Our bare corner now looks lovely with a stunning new plant and pot. Next time we want new plants, we are going straight to Shirley’s!

Love this little gem! Best coffee in Mortdale, friendly staff and also dog friendly. My dog drags me in when we go past Toasties are yum as well

Finally had a chance to pop past after eyeing off this shop every time i drive past the station. Very decent selection of very well priced plants, with a selection of both beautifully maintained indoor and outdoor plants. Was able to buy the most beautiful elephants ear the other week, and will be returning for my other plant needs!

Can I just say these guys are the dead set best in customer service. Make sure you get a phil while your there with your coffee. You won’t regret it

Amazing little nursery with a grand variety of plants and great prices. Sage and Julia were super helpful and amazing. 10/10 customer service. Highly recommend this spot!
