Bathers' Pavilion

Unique menu with premium offerings, including delicious mussels. We enjoyed the mussels with fries and a thin-crusted prawn pizza. The Mountain Culture IPA washed it down perfectly. I'd like to thank the staff for a great experience after a walk from Chowder Bay to Balmoral.

Upscale restaurant serving Australian food. Small portion sizes which means dessert is an option. Great wine list. Wonderful atmosphere in a great location. Very helpful staff.

Amazing views of the beach. The atmosphere was great, and so was the service.
I had a two-course meal, and I had the Swordfish and Calamari main and the Honey Parfait dessert. I recommend both.

Decided to take my mother out to lunch and we were seated at a table with a beautiful view out to Balmoral Beach. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Decided to try the degustation menu at $190pp. 9 small courses to basically sample most of their menu, starting with two snacks including their amazing potato scallop, two entrees including their refreshing heirloom cucumbers, three mains with the delicious lobster pasta and two desserts.

Presentation was beautiful but I loved the layered flavours provided by each component of the dish. The highlight for me was the snapper fillet served with a roasted chicken wing sauce which paired beautifully with the walnut paste and the garlic to lift the umami to a new level. For the sweet tooth diners, their chocolate wattle mousse dessert which hid a treasure of decadent caramel inside was a must. Will definitely return again.

Great spot for lunch at the beach. High-quality food super quality service. Great for allergies to certain food types as well. They were very accommodating.

We dined at the Bather's Pavillion Restaurant. Food is divine, and staff are accommodating and knowledgeable.
As expected, parking can be a really issue, so it is a better option to get a cab to Balmoral.

Delicious and beautifully presented vegan tasting menu for NYE. Every dish was so tasty. The service was exceptional, great atmosphere, beautiful location. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion.

What an incredible venue! I photographed a wedding here recently and was really impressed with the pavilion, it's got history, tons of character and space. The food and staff were amazing, highly recommend considering this venue for your wedding!

Fantastic dishes. We ordered starters to share for the table and then had fish and pizza for mains. Very delicious and great service and atmosphere too.

Comments: visited for Sat lunch. They had a set menu for lunch and we had two courses. I hve to say every single menu they served was 10/10 and the customer service was also 10/10. With the great view we absolutely had a pleasure time. Even their coffee was 10/10!!

We went to the “Restaurant” part of the pavilion.

The service is top notch. The waitress we had made sure we understand the menu, where the ingredients came from and recommended very nice dishes. We felt looked after by the waitress throughout the lunch.

The kitchen put shareable food into separate plates to make sure what the chef wanted to make sure we get to see how it supposed to be played nicely even sharing.

The atmosphere is great, overlooking the ocean while enjoying our meal.

The food is delicious, nicely presented and very different. We enjoyed the meal a lot.

This place is a must to visit and highly recommended.

As always, great ambience, delicious food and excellent service from our lovely wait staff. Celebrated my gf’s birthday and they even brought out dessert with Candle n bday wish carved on plate with chocolate!!

At the Bistro, great view at lunch and good selection of meals. Enjoyed lamb and the steak with beetroot side then cappuccinos after. A bit busy so service a bit brisk.

Wedding Reception - Ray and the team at Bathers’ Pavilion did a wonderful job in planning and managing our wedding reception. From the extensive preparation beforehand (including through Covid lockdowns) to a beautifully organised reception event on our special day. The evening ran seamlessly, and the team took the pressure off so we could focus on enjoying every moment. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was (there was plenty of it!) and the room had an elegant yet relaxed feel. Thank you for helping to make our day so perfect.

Huge shout out to Imran for making our dinner at Bathers Pavilion exceptional! The food was as delicious as ever but I have to say, our dining experience was elevated due to the consideration and contagious joy shown by Imran.
My husband and I always like to share food and Imran & the chef made sure this was easy (and a lot more civilised!) by providing the mains already shared on plates brought to the table. This also meant we could have white wine with our fish and then wait a little before sharing the steak with a red wine. Simple things but they made a big difference to how we experienced our meals.
We will be back for sure due to such an enjoyable evening. Thank you :)

The food has flavour... It surprised us how good the food tasted, from calamari and raw tuna dishes to mussels, pasta and pizza.
The usual busy, but comfortable atmosphere and beautiful views make Bathers a great place to visit again and again. The service this time was a little pressured but didn't detract from a great afternoon / evening.
