Surah Korean BBQ

We had a fabulous bbq dinner here last week. Exceptionally tasty food and great service.
Also quite reasonably priced.
Would definetely recommend - we have been here before and will go back when in the area again - the place is so awesome.

Very authentic Korean food, feel like I had dinner at a restaurant in Korea I used to in Suwon.
Love the food, the green tea ice cream is delicious and the staffs are very nice and friendly.
Highly recommended in this area.

Had one of the best Korean BBQ I have had in a long time.
Food was amazing, we had bbq meats with sides and steamed egg. I have definitely found my new Korean spot, such a shame it is not open for lunch. Oh and quite affordable too. Customer service was great too

Super authentic Korean food, lots of side dish options. I reckon it’s one of the best in the South Coast region. Highly recommended.

well-trained, well presented and friendly staff. good quality meats & authentic korean dishes plus plating was on point with extra roasting veges. the place was clean and modern. theres not a lot of the menu but its sure enough for this experience and for two people.

feedback - if they had service button on the table that would be a bonus as we required a few run backs for water, refill sides, etc or just staff checking in with each table early on. the food came around 10-15 mins which is it bit long since most of the meat would have been prepared already.

but overall, we were impressed to find this gem at Nowra.

we ordered: beef combo, black bean noodles, free sides, drinks total $100 for 2 - we were super super full.

Ordered the Mixed Beef platter. Had a variety of Beef (4 different cuts) which was plenty for 2 or 3 people depending on the appetite. With plenty of side dishes/sauces and friendly staff I would recommend you visit this KBBQ. I was delighted.

Looking past the kaos of week 2 opening the food is amazing.
I do not eat spicy at all. So it is great that you cook your own thinly sliced meats at the table and then mix with your sauces or spices.
For me it was medium rare no sauce. Several different flavours of meats. Amazing.
And the fried chicken is absolutely nothing like greasy fried chicken.
Highly recommend for the fussy eater that wants to branch out.
Book or be there before 5.30. As it packs out on the weekends very quickly.

Surprisingly good Korean BBQ. Staff was friendly well priced and delicious food. Could improve on side dishes but overall.. Excellent place to have dinner.

Ordered takeaway (byo one container) and they were accommodating. We tried their bulgogi bibimbap and soy casserole. Both were tasty and generous in portions!

This has become our go to place to eat out. Fantastic options on the menu. Highly recommend the boneless bqq chicken wings!

Great staff, fast service (food came out in less than 10min) and food you'd come back for. Complementary kimchi and pickled sides were a great palette cleanser to help get through a mountain of suculent soy fried chicken. The prawn Udon was very fresh and tasty and the pork kimchi casserole had a good amount of spice. Can't say a bad word about this place, very satisfied!

Absolutely loved this place. Great flavours, barbecue was simple and easy to use. Ridiculously good value.

We’re out camping 4days and passing these amazing Korean bbq for lunch.
They were so busy and under pump when we’re came.
Food was completely delicious!!!
Tried many food while there, their kimchi fried rice was bomb!!!
Cheese fried chicken also so tasty
Only their pork dumplings was not what we expected as their version was like bao pao instead of dumplings.
And you guys should try their mocha ice cream as a desert
Wish they’re in Syd so we could come more often.

Pretty impressed with this place considering how well it stacks up with Sydney Korean restaurants. Bibimbap with spicy pork was good and the Udon soup was fine. The side dishes were excellent. Was so hungry I forgot to take photos of the mains, oops!

Great Korean grill. Fresh meat lovely atmosphere. I would recommend booking in advance as it is quite busy.

Great restaurant, the $10 lunch special was really good value. The food (especially the soft tofu soup) rivals the Korean food available in Sydney. Staff were polite, and the place was spacious.

I'm so grateful for the team at Surah taking such care to help me find food that was safe for me to eat with some complex food intolerances! They took time to ask questions and go through the menu with me, and were very clear on which dishes I could have when bringing food to the table. It was a lovely night out and a relief to be so taken care of.

Went here for lunch. We ordered 2 rice bowls and a bento box. All of them are delicious. And came with side dishes like all other Korean restaurants which is a bonus. All of them cost $30!!!! Great value. If ever come here again, I will certainly come visit again.
