MaMi Banh Mi

Our orders: roast pork banh mi, grilled chicken and tofu vermicelli bowls. Love the food, a little gem not just for locals but for us visiting from Canada. They have the best tasted banh we ever tried! Bread roll was freshly baked, the roast pork was done better than Chinese BBQ stores, crispy skin and well paired with pickled carrots and other fresh vegetables. The grilled chicken and the tofu bowl were just as delicious, can’t wait to return and order again.

Absolutely love this place. The vermicelli bowls and rolls are the best in Sydney! The place is super clean, great value for money and always amazing service by the family owners. The coffee is also amazing. Honestly if you’re a local and haven’t tried it yet, make sure to go! I would go every day if I could!! 10/10!

Local gem! Unexpectedly good bahn mi for the area. Had the traditional pork, roast pork and grilled chicken - all were delicious. When you add chilli they also add a chilli oil to the base in addition to the usual fresh chilli. Service is friendly but slow.

Delicious banh mi, so happy that I’ve tried it now and will have to return. I got the lemongrass pork which was to die for. My friend had a coffee which was good too. Really friendly service. Parking was a bit hard but worth it

Service will a smile, a very clean place and very friendly; the roll was crunchy and full of delicious goodness! I sampled the crispy pork belly and it was delicious!! All the zing in the carrots and delicious jam/ patte/ Mayo and secret soy sauce!!! Can’t wait to try the lemon grass chicken

The Crispy Pork Banh Mi was excellent. It's best to get there before 1pm as it can run out. Friendly staff and good service.

Every now and then you stumble along a little local gem, unassuming and obscure. This is one of those. Blink and you could miss it.

Rocky Point Road has a few high profile cafes and restaurants, and little places get hidden by the glare of those.

Small family run business, its clean fresh and definitely not pretentious.

You need to step in to the queue as you enter the front of shop and visions of roast pork hit your eyes as you move inside.

Class French rolls are the key here and the roast pork is cut thick and the crackling is fabulous

The salad is fresh crisp and is abundant, the chilli not over powering and the service is quick.

Best banh mi south of the bridge. Period. Roast Pork or grilled chicken - doesn't matter. Both great. And the chilli jam! 😍🤤

Coffees are fantastic too and not charging CBD prices 🙌. Will give the other jokers in San souci/ramsgate and surrounds a run for the regular coffee market. Just need extra hands to pump through the queue 🤙❤

Tommy’s a 10/10 bloke making a 10/10 banh mi. Hands down the best banh mi I’ve ever eaten…. And I’ve been to Vietnam.

Best Banh Mi's by far. They have good variety of fillings too. Queuing system needs to change, esp when there's only 1 person making rolls & serving bakery items whilst the other makes coffees. There definitely needs a third server at busy times.

Yeah I loved it! That young man behind the counter just does a fantastic job and any wish you have will be taken care of. Great roll and very swiftly prepared. So if you are in hurry you will be all good here. The taste of the roll was superb.
