Greendale's Cafe

After a visit to the Meribee Gardens, we found Greendale Cafe on Google, with a high rating and decided to have lunch there.
What a lovely cafe with beautiful views and award winning scones and pickles!
We ordered a Smoky Slow-cooked Pulled Lamb Egg Benedict, a Tasting Board for one and had a scone each. Food were DELICIOUS, generously portioned, and service was excellent. We came home with a loaf of the local bread and a bottle of their new pickle - Chili Choko Sweet Mustard Pickle. Highly recommended!

Love this little farm Cafe! It's on the way to our favourite beach & am ashamed to say we only just stopped to check it out. The food is a tiny bit pricey, but it's delicious and worth the treat - and its a really nice farm atmosphere. There are also creative/ artist market style shops, vintage wares and lolly shop at the same location - so it's a good place to spend some time wandering through.

The meals were delicious & the setting / scenery is beautiful. Thankyou for polite, prompt service & a lovely day out for our group of ladies.

This is the sort of find that I don’t want to share because I’m worried everyone will discover it! Beautiful location, amazing food (seriously one of the best brunch meals I’ve had in ages), friendly, helpful staff, local produce and lots of vego or dairy free options. Well worth a visit!

Ordered two kids lunches and one kids brunch for takeaway today.
Great assortment and unusually my kids finished the lot. It’s nice to see some variety in kids meals as opposed to the standard plain nuggets and chips.
The food was made quickly and packed in recyclable packaging. It was delicious.
The staff were absolutely lovely.

Wonderful food and fabulous service. A little gem amongst the old heritage buildings with lots of brick bricks. While your there pickup some delicious beetroot relish .
And I might add we had the best scones with jam and cream I have had in a very long time .

Such a beautiful cafe, with an outdoor area out the back overlooking a grass field. Food was delicious and super fast service as well! Definitely try the scones - super soft and the cream was amazing.

This place is just too beautiful. You can go for booze and view which only cost $15 and they have life music and you can sit outside and relax for hours. In the morning you can see the cows that have come out to graze nearby. There is a beautiful selection of breakfast. All the sits in the house has its unique sitting. The place has a beautiful 1800 setting which I loved the most .

Such a beautiful place! We sat outside and loved it. Staff was really friendly and the scones to die for 😋 Coffee was very good too. We also had a large takeaway order (dips, fish, calamari, chicken burgers, soul bowl, nuggets, more scones 😊) and everyone enjoyed their food. Will be back if in the area.

Greendale's is full of charm and great service and we will definitely be back! My fiancé and I came here for the first time for lunch, right after getting engaged at Merribee Gardens. We couldn't have been happier with our experience. The food was so delicious, and at the time the place was decorated for Halloween with the staff all in fantastic costumes, which was especially delightful for me as Halloween is my favourite holiday. When we informed the staff of our special occasion they went to great lengths to help us celebrate, which we appreciated so much!

Stumbled upon lovely Greendale when travelling around Jervis Bay. This cottage style cafe which overlooks a cornfield is truly a hidden gem. Great food, great coffee and do not leave without trying the best scones ever!

The staff was nice enough to let us order lunch before their kitchen closed. Take note that the kitchen closes 1 hour earlier than their operating time but you can still order cakes and coffee, they have a nice selwction going there.

We got the grilled fish and crunchy salad! The fries were awesome! Tasty and crispy! Top notch service from the staff as well. Thank you!

This cafe is such a delight - located in the Jindyandy Mill complex with stunning views overlooking lush green dairy pastures, the views are hard to beat. The menu is delicious and wholesome - the scones are not to be missed! Dogs are welcome on the decks and outside picnic tables - highly recommend booking to avoid missing out.

Went for lunch with friends on Saturday as we were staying nearby, what a stroke of luck! Delicious food, great service and stunning scenery, looking forward to going back and trying some other dishes!

We love greendales cafe! the staff here have gone above and beyond for us recently and we can’t wait to go back. Courtney and her manager Katt helped us out when we lost our car key there last week, they went out of there way to post it back to Sydney for us and none of it was a problem. This type of customer service doesn’t come easily these days! And not to mention the best coffee in the area! Thanks guys🫶

Greendale’s has been one of our favourites for a number of years, Sunday’s lunch post “Covid Pause” underlined why.
The staff’s management of our current health restrictions/controls was thorough, efficient and polite.
“Dairy Farm Views”, so what?
The location and quirky decor of the cafe, with it’s leadlight framed picture windows, combines for an impressive vista; the food only adds to it.

Alan & his team are looking to change their hours for Summer Weekends. A cocktail after lunch or a belated post surf snack, just an udder option, with Cow Views.

So lucky to stumble across this hiddem gem, love the vibe, the view, the food and the people here. Crispy pork and kiwo fruit skewers is a lovy surprise.

I have been attending Greendales for many years and always receive the highest level of service, quality and kindness.
Not only is the scenery beautiful, but so is the venue and the staff. It is a MUST visit. Definitely try their award winning scones and if you have little ones, there is a great space with a variety of toys to keep them entertained. Many times I get asked, "where should we go?" or "is there somewhere you like?" and Greendales is always one of the first places I suggest.
