5/5 stars! Food, ambiance and crew service are top notch! Enjoyed devouring this well presented smoked salmon English muffin stack, along with the Ube pancake which is must try! The soft shell crab and calamari burger is also tasty! Very generous servings 🩷 *chef’s kiss*

S&AJ CAFE is a delightful spot! Nestled in a cozy atmosphere, it's a haven for families with its spacious layout, making it incredibly kids-friendly. The quick service ensures you're not kept waiting long for their delicious fare, which truly hits the mark in taste and presentation. What adds to the charm is the friendly staff, always ready with a warm smile and helpful attitude, enhancing the overall experience. This cafe ticks all the boxes for a relaxing, enjoyable outing for both adults and children alike. Best dish was kid’s bolognese!

Very hospitable staff and nice environment. All foods were prepared with meticulous presentation. The ube pancake is a must try.

Great suprisingly large cafe/restaurant and bar.
FOOD: Great selection of food with several vegan, vegetarian, gluten free options.
Their food is fresh of a very high quality and organic. I only wished I'd found it earlier, as I would have eaten here everyday.
STAFF: Lovely, efficient and knowledgeable. I pointed out an odd item on their menu and they were interested to learn and help.
VIBE: Homely, yet modern large cottage like feel.
ACCESSIBILITY: Great for those with larger wheelchairs, walkers, large groups. Perfect for 10-20 parents with prams etc (how often can one find a place like this!) They have a nice large changing room/bathroom too.
Ample free street parking.
OVERALL: Highly recommend. Wished I lived in Young to enjoy it more. I will be back!

I'm fairly new to town and I've been here a few times with visiting family members but never on my own until today. I was treated like a queen by every member of staff, my food and iced coffee was delicious and I left feeling fantastic. I thank you all for a lovely, memorable experience. This was a lovely visit and I thank you again.

Such an amazing gem in Young! Was first time here and was suggested to eat at this Cafe. Loved the ambience, food, staff were all superb! Compliments to the Chef! Highly recommed if you're ever in town.

This is hands down one of Young’s best restaurants. The service is fast and friendly, they have an extensive, well priced menu, the portion sizes are very generous, and they even have a small play area for kids in the back. I’ve tried a few options on the menu and they range from very good (chipotle chilli eggs), to the excellent (fried chicken and waffle with ice cream - don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!), to the sublime (the smoked salmon muffin stack is a amazing!).

They’ve now started a dinner service on Fridays and Saturdays- definitely worth visiting multiple times. Would highly recommend!

We went here with family whilst visiting Young. We were greeted like family as soon as we walked in. The table was beautifully setup. The cafe is spacious with a modern country decor. Hanging plants from the ceiling. Food was super delicious and drinks too. We will definately be coming back. Highly recommend.

Had a great lunch today with my wife, it’s just unfortunate they don’t do table service. The lady that always did that was super friendly. But now they have modernised and now you can order from the table. Lunch was overall great, what’s really good about this place is the fact they make their own fries. Would recommend this place to family and friends and they have a little kiddy area as well…

Lovely little Cafe on the inner shopping precinct of Young. Coffee is divine with plenty of cakes and pastries to tantalise your taste buds. Plenty of accommodating tables and chairs for the larger crowds, and their menu provides plenty of variety regarding settings for breakfast, lunch and weekend dinners.

Kids friendly restaurant. Spacious area. Tasty and healthy food. Quick and friendly service. Facility is clean. Reasonable price, open on public holidays. will come back again when visiting Young.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at S and AJ. Every year after cherry picking, we come back here to try different from the menu. Today was a hectic day but you have provided an excellent service. The atmosphere was inviting, and there’s enough space for everyone. What’s great, there is a corner for kids to hang out. We enjoyed everything. Coffee was exceptional. Ube cheesecake is worth trying. Looking forward to returning soon!

Such a friendly and accommodating cafe. We had lunch with a couple of fussy seniors who were able to order what they wanted. Lunch choices were good, all day breakfast is always a winner, my chicken dish was delicious and the waffles ....... Yum

Nice choice of healthy food. Fast and friendly service. Rather pricey. Great presentation of food, spacious place with a homeware store inside. Will be back to try their coffee. I heard from a colleague it's good.

Awesome breakfasts for both the health freaks and those who like to indulge. Drinks are of equal high standard. Chai’s are real, not from a tin. Worthwhile visiting Young just to eat here!

This cafe is an absolute gem! The beef burger was a delicious twice cooked beef oyster blade with rustic homestyle chips. There’s also Gluten Free options, and dairy free. I also enjoyed a takeaway Broffee - bone broth in a mug.

Great atmosphere in a modern industrial style interior! The shop at the back half has a beautiful selection of homewares and lovely trinkets.
