Stopped in for lunch today with my partner and elderly grandmother. Great access for walkers, the young lady behind the bar was very friendly and it was no issue to cater for my grandmothers dietary requirements. The crumbed chicken was fresh and delicious, and the nachos were amazing. We will definitely be back, compliments to the chef!

Dropped in for lunch today and we were very happy, we will be back. A great menu - including lunch options for $15-18. Didn’t take long to get our orders and the food was fresh and delicious - my grandmother really enjoyed her steak which we learnt they received fresh each morning from the neighbouring butcher.

Had a lunch stop while driving through town, big meal, very reasonable price. Staff very friendly.

Its under new management and they're doing great.

The bar is a nice, clean, well-lit and doesn't smell of old beer which is a huge plus for me.

The bistro is open seven days and has a great selection of food to choose from. The fried chips and gravy is very popular.

Accommodation rooms are being completely refurbished and the common room is welcoming and well-lit.

The bar is well engaged with its community with happy hour from 4-6pm and pool championships every Wednesday from 6:30pm as well as a few other events through the week.

Overall it's the best hotel in town and I can't wait to be back.

The service here is the best in town, they have a very wide range of beer on-tap, beer is always cold, lines are always clean, the rooms are very comfortable and the bistro food is Amazing 😍🤩. The staff are very kind and always welcoming and wheelchair access is available and easy to use doors. 👍👍👍👍👍

Absolutely amazing country pub. So great we came back twice. We stumbled across the pub due to the live music, which was the Neil Diamond and Elvia tribute show.
The beer was ice cold and the food was generous, quick to come from the kitchen and tasty. The pool table was $2 per game and well maintained.
It looks like the pub has been recently renovated. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Nice Relaxing place with great friendly staff and service. Highly recommend going for a meal and drink.

Midweek lunch stopover. Food was great. Schnitzel was legit. Steak sandwich was perfectly done. Chips were decent too. Staff were friendly. Nice space to sit where you're not bombarded by screens.

Food, service, booze and atmosphere were excellent. We have tried all the pubs in the area and this is the best place for a feed by far. We will definitely make this our local. Very family friendly! Thank you guys

Commercial Hotel in Young has just opened up again under New management, Restaurant is excellent even better than previous chefs. Food is excellent, and the restaurant has been refurbished looks great. I would recommend this place to anyone even with a family. You can bring the kids along as well. 12 out of 10. The Commercial hotel now that it has reopened would have to be one of the best places in Young to have a meal. And if you like your food the meals are big.

Great place for a meal, good space out the back of the enclosed area to hire. Food is generally pretty good with specials rotated every week. They used to do yummy ribs on Friday, not sure if they still do but they were awesome.
