Ponte Bar and Dining

One of my favourite places in Nowra to dine. The 3 course lunch deal is an absolute steal! I've been here twice and will definitely be back again.

My favourite dishes from this visit include: the salmon and barramundi ceviche, seared Japanese scallops, pan-fried barramundi and BBQ lamb backstrap.

What a stunning spot! The restaurant was completely booked out, yet they managed to squeeze us in, and serve everything at such an appropriate time despite the kitchen visibly getting smashed! The food, cocktails, price & service was just outstanding. Lauren was our main server and she was super attentive, lovely and funny as were the other staff members! We will definitely be back! Thank you.

First time here and very pleasantly surprised. A Tapas style menu with the best value being the $60 per person 9 dish shared plate. Absolutely delicious

We have some wonderful places to eat in our local area, and we now have a new one to add to the list.
Exceptional food, excellent team, and special location .
These guys have been through a tough year and delivered.

Had my Birthday lunch here on 8/2/23. Thanks for the fantastic food, great service, and that 2015 Martinborough Chardonnay was amazing.

Had the 3 course lunch special and extremely good value! Best dishes were the bread pudding, local octopus and zucchini flower!

Had the most incredible dinner. Every item ordered was so delicious and cooked to perfection. Staff are so friendly and the restaurant has a great atmosphere and view. Highly recommend!

I was here last week with a few friends and my word I didn’t believe a place like this in Nowra existed.

It’s situated on the river near the bridge in Norwa it has a quaint overlook.

The food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were amazing. Would love to see a spicy version of the margarita on the menu but aside from that it was delicious!

I will 100% be back!

I headed to Ponte with a girlfriend for a long lunch, and was not disappointed at all! The spanner crab pasta was definitely a highlight, as was the mango pavlova.

Food was the best you can get Nowra from what I've tasted. The event was packed and the patrons got noisier the more alcohol they consumed, Sharon was lovely enough to allow us to move our table so I could still hear my husband and have a conversation as I have a hearing problem. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I just love this place. The food is always amazing, the staff is so friendly and attentive. The 3-course special is great value. We'll be back!

That was a very special moment with my family! Cozy place and great food! The staff was very helpful as it provided me with a lot of vegan adapted meals.

A definite hidden asset to Nowra dining. Stunning dining room, beautiful views,Nowra Bridge did not interfere with traffic noise or vistas.We dined as a group of 8 people & this place didn't miss a beat nothing was a problem for the staff to help out with any thing we requested. & any queries re menu was efficiently taken care of. even dietary requirements were solved & made us not ever feel it was an imposition. Lovely welcoming staff .Incredible wine men.Ima real clean friendly ( Due to me line of work). Immaculate presentation of the whole set up. Having work for decades in Up market Sydney restaurants. My quickest walk past a kitchen (open door). Was WOW that's beautifully presented. Would definitely be recommending & taking Guest's & visiting friend her every chance. Again thanks you've TOTALLY made my Sister's & Families Birthday lunch an experience .Really appreciate it.

Really nice restaurant for share plates with friends. Great variety of dishes ensures there is something for everyone. Enormous wine selection. Parking can be a nightmare

We enjoyed another lunch yesterday with friends and again would give the Ponte a 5 star rating for food , service and atmosphere. Well done !

Brilliant good and wonderful hospitality!! We loved our dinner at Ponte- the team were super helpful, their wine list is great and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the short rib and polenta chips (we ate it too quickly before we took a snap!).

Really nice food, tapas style - you get to try lots of flavours. Liked all dishes but my favourite were the mushrooms arancini and salmon ceviche.

We have eaten here a number of times and everything is as awesome as always!
You can pay a bit but it's all worth it.
Personally we prefer the lunch menu. The tapa style dinner does not really reflect what the tapa spirit should be, however really good either way.
Will definitely go back regularly.

Great time had at the 'Beer + BBQ' night with Dangerous Ales at Ponte last night. Food was sensational, as always, and the beer wow!! match the food beautifully . Thank you Thiago, Sharon and staff.

My first visit which certainly won’t be my last. Absolutely loved it. Interesting menu and everything met our expectations. Friendly staff, good service, fairly priced and yummy. What more could we want 😋
