Kinghorne Bakery

New to the area so walked a few blocks and it was the lure of the fresh baked pies that made me turn and go back. Small street presence, metal/wood factory styling and clear menu on my side of the counter. Ordered the breakfast pie (2 eggs, tomato & bacon, light crisp pastry!), sausage roll and large coffee.
Sat outside and watched the locals roll in for their orders and am not surprised.
It’s well prized and deserves it: fabulous. Service cheery & engaging - the coffee hot and a perfect brew. Wish I was local as I’d join the queue!
(With a chef - 5 stars, hatted restaurant in the family, I know my food).

What a delight this bakery is! From friendly service, great coffee and delicious food a place well worth stopping in at while in Nowra. Will definitely be back.

Very cute bakery with good coffee and great homemade sandwiches.

I found myself in Nowra recently on a tour after we'd been driving through rural NSW all day. It was almost 4pm and we were starving. Despite being in the process of closing up, the Kinghorne staff very kindly made us some delicious toasties and coffee. Definitely worth a try if you're ever in Nowra.

Always get the double sausage roll, cheese bacon pie.

Always great and friendly service. Ordered a few cakes and Alex was extremely helpful and food was delicious. Been back to get pies, sausage rolls and tarts and they were incredible. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I just picked up the rice paper roll from the Kinghorn Bakery. It was amazing. They also have amazing looking sandwiches and pastries.

I am a huge foodie but never tasted such pastries, pies, bread as good as this for ages - but I had a fruit tartlet that equals one I bought in France - his pastry is the best I have tasted since being in France and the coffee is the best in Nowra - I had a latte so good - thanks for the best food I have tasted in ages

Cannot recommend anyone higher than Alex at kinghorne bakery, he whipped up an amazing cake for my partners 30th and everyone commented not only on how great it looked but how awesome it tasted!
If you're after cakes, coffees, pies or pastries and 11/10 service get down there and check them out!

We bought our Christmas cake from here this year and it is outstanding. Rich and moist and, most importantly, a hit with our family. Well done to the Bakery.
