David Jones - Bondi Junction

Fantastic service from Christalle at the Chanel counter. I was being very indecisive choosing a new perfume for myself yet she was so patient and showed me options and explained the perfumes and their ingredients so well. I didn’t buy anything but still she genuinely wished me a lovely day and gave me a sample “ to enjoy and hope to see you again” so nice. I went to the Chanel boutique for more options ( not great service) and Christian Dior. I specifically came back to David Jones to purchase from her as she was so good! Christalle remembered me straight away and I am thrilled with my new perfume. She also gave me skin care samples which is explained how to use. I will be back! Thank you so much 😊

The range is limited in this David Jones compared to the store in the city, however this one has the benefit of being in a Westfield with free parking (limited hours). It's a little old in some areas and could do with a refresh. Its not crowded which is great and the staff is generally very helpful and friendly. The food court downstairs is nice and quite luxurious.

Just a nice experience with Noura in Perfume department, so helpful and kind. Helped us a lot, will definitely come back to be assisted by her❤

Would like to commend Drita the manager, Max and Mariam for a wonderful customer service. Bought a Dyson air wrap for my girlfriend and managed to get a better price than Dyson themselves. Top-notch, very friendly and I was genuinely looked after.

Ladies. If any of you need to be fitted for a bra. Go to the lingerie section of David Jones Bondi Junction and ask for Nicole and Ariel. They helped me through a traumatic time. The selection of bras isn’t massive. But they are funny, helpful, direct and, they make the process of squeezing your body into contraptions designed by men to hurt women fun.

A classy place to eat, surrounded by the best fresh produce and gourmet deli treats. Loved my perfect thin crust pizza and the absolute top-shelf selection of wines. Steve Costi's Famous Fish, located within DJ's, makes an astoundingly good grilled salmon, chips and salad. A great place to indulge yourself!

One of the best appointed David Jones around. Highly professional, friendly staff made the shopping experience all the more easy.

Christmas 🎁 shopping made easy at David Jones from some of the best names in fashion to some of the best Christmas 🎄 decorations DJs is your go to store.

Sev at dior counter she exude so much professionalism and kindness. She looks great, and is very on top of her role and helps her colleagues. If there is a assistance needed for any professional decisions when ever possible. Monnie from Armani was above and beyond. Also so kind and so professional looking. Also wonderful and beautiful. I really commend the whole floor in the beauty section and also the customer service team on the floor that day. Thank you for all your help and willingness. Hope you guys get recognised for your efforts. even when there was no manager around, they have absolutely high standards of professionalism and kind attitudes.

As a customer myself I think how many of my fellow customers treat the staff at this store needs to be addressed. The way staff are treated by customers at this store is appalling. David Jones Bondi seems to have a specific type of customer who thinks that because they wear designer clothes they can treat staff horribly. (Sorry but you have zero elegance and class if you treat staff badly!) Here are a few things for customers to remember…

-address staff with manners. Say “please” and “thank you” when asking to look at prices,open cabinets, etc.

-Don’t hassle staff if they are busy. Simply wait your turn or do something else while you wait.

-Expanding on that, don’t follow staff around when they are clearly with another customer, it’s so rude.

-Dont complain about lack of staff to a staff member who isn’t a manager. A regular staff member literally can’t do anything about this and is probably annoyed also. Go to customer service on level three and formally complain.

-If you don’t have a receipt or tag on your product you can’t return or exchange it EVEN if it’s faulty. This is bad luck for you as it’s basic consumer policy that a receipt/tag is needed. If you harass and abuse staff members for not processing a return or exchange you are being disgusting. This is your fault for not keeping receipts, this is pretty basic stuff…..

-If you don’t want to be approached by staff shop online! It’s extremely rude to get annoyed or dismiss staff when they ask if you need help it’s their job and they are likely being policed by managers to do this.

-If you are going to be rude or do any of the above SHOP ONLINE. Retail workers are human and are done with your BS

I must say, Cici is incredibly helpful at David Jones Beauty! Her expertise and warm assistance made my shopping experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!
