absolute gem of a shop - was served by a woman who was so incredibly helpful, informative and patient. I tried on and tested a number of shoes and they talked me through all the considerations etc. am very happy with the pair i got and the help i received. would strongly recommend this shop for anyone looking to purchase a new pair of trainers

Track shoes are super hard to find and fit - these ppl really know what to do, took time & care to get proper fitting spikes. Much better than some larger places we’ve been. Also
got our mum some good fitting sneakers although they won’t help improve her running style

Track shoes are super hard to find and fit, especially for 8 year olds with large feet. We found great subject matter knowledge and help here.

The customer service was fast, efficient, and friendly. They really took the time to help find what we needed.

Pricing is competitive with the larger chain stores as well.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I came into THE Runners Shop looking for a style of shoe recommended by my Podiatrist. Unfortunately, the recommended style was not meeting my comfort needs. The Staff, walked me through different styles available and brands until I found the perfect fit! This shop is amazing, great service and special thanks to Charlotte who served us. She stayed open after the closing time of 5pm to help us with our shoe fitting. There was a great variety of shoe choices and flexibility with the staff.

I'm soon heading to Finland for the World Masters Athletics and wanted a pair of the new and amazing Nike Air Zoom Maxfly spikes ASAP. I tried on other spikes for size and they promised to call me when my size arrived in the country. I got the phone call last week and they delivered them free two days later. Very grateful that they didn't forget me and the spikes look to be everything that's promised by Nike.

Great and friendly service. This is now my goto shop for Running and Trail shoes. I think I found my perfect fit for Trail running with the Hoka Challenger ATR. Thx for letting try so many different options. There is plenty of choice and price is the same than online retailers.

Amazing customer service - I placed my order on the Monday afternoon before Christmas (Friday) and they did everything in their power to get the package to the post office that day before it closed so that I would receive the shoes before Christmas (which I did)

After a day visiting every shoe shop in Melbourne's CBD, I couldn't find a single pair of size 14 trail runners anywhere. I'm currently wearing Brooks, so I thought sticking with the same brand was a safe strategy for online ordering. A few shops claimed to have the cascadia 4 in stock, but I was in a hurry so called first to check that the stock report was accurate. A local shop said they could order it in and have it for me a week later.

I called the Runners Shop, and after listening to my whinge, they offered to call Brooks and find out how long it would take to get the shoes in as they thought it should only take a couple of days, not a week as the other store claimed.

Fifteen minutes later they called back, told me that they'd could arrang for Brooks to send the shoes out to me directly and that I should have them in the afternoon or the next day. Less than 24 hours later, the shoes arrived. Very cool...

We buy all our kid's runners here. Though they don't have a massive range, we always still walk out with something we love and the service is always great.

Awesome service, even when they didnt have the shoes i wanted in-store they posted them to me,and sent me a msg to say they were in the post!
