I just want to review my positive experience like with so many of them at this vets. The staff are very caring and take the time to explain things and they are so wonderful with the animals. I want to give a shout out to Maddy who step by step with such compassion guided me through a dental procedure my dog was having. She took the time to explain everything and she is just so lovely. Lexi and another dark haired lady on the front counter were so friendly and made the experience so much better. I just cannot recommend this vets high enough. Thank you for your consistent manner in which you conduct each consultation as it helps immensely when your stressed about procedures and your friendliness and care not only for the pets but their owners is truly valuable.

Having just recently moved back to the lake mac/newcastle area I was in need of a good vet! I was recommended Dr Emily by a friend.
Dr Emily and her team by far exceeded my expectations!
They really went above and beyond looking after my baby!

Sending massive thanks and praise to Mount Hutton Pet Hospital for saving my cat Scout not once, but twice in the space of 2 months from tick paralysis. Their professionalism and compassion is above and beyond, and I know they always had Scout's best interests at heart.
Special thanks to Dr Emily for always calling when she said she would and keeping me up to date over Scout's latest 9 day hospital stay. Same for Dr Darcy with Scout's earlier 5 day stay. And of course to all the nurses and other staff who I know did a lot behind the scenes.
Scout is very glad to be home ❤

All three of my dogs are looked after here. Cannot fault their care for my girls. Receptionist was also super helpful when I found a stray dog and he was quickly reunited with his owner after they scanned him and called the owner.

Great people and great help. We sadly needed the kind staff at Mount Hutton Pet Hospital most recently when our aged cat reached her last hours. They were extremely compassionate, ignored that we were late, and offered as much care as anyone could at such a sad time. Thank you all!

I can't tell the world how much I appreciate the staff at Mount Hutton Pet Hospital - Dr Darcy, Dr Emily, Dr Ray, Miranda, Katelyn, Taylor, Jenny and everyone else that makes the place as brilliant as it is.
I value the business, the people, the service, the way they treat myself and my fur babies - enormously.
There's a vet 3 minutes away from my house but I'd rather drive the 20-30 minutes it takes to get there.
They are Gold Class.
Can't recommend them enough.

Dr Ray and his staff are kind and compassionate. I've been taking my warm and cold blooded little friends there for some TLC for about the last 5 years. Absolutely the only place to take a crook lizard or snake to in Newcastle. No vet is cheap, but this practice does keep things as reasonable as possible.

The only vets I will ever use they are all amazing, friendly and put you and your pets as priority, amazing staff and vets highly recommended.

I had heard mount hutton pet hospital was a great vets. I was very happy to see the review I had read was right. Very happy with the service.

Would like to commend Mt Hutton vet hospital on the compassion and care they have given myself and my family after having to say a very incredibly hard goodbye to my baby girl Ellie two weeks ago.
They went above and beyond in the last two weeks to make our tough time that little bit better. Ellie and I have been going the clinic quite regularly over the last few years as Ellie was never a well dog. Couldn’t recommend them enough for the service that they gave my special girl. When she began having problems in October they were more than accomodating in letting me see Ellie when she was staying over night even if it didn’t quite suit the clinics schedule, I never had any doubt that when I left her in their care she wasn’t being treated as she would’ve been in my own care.
Thank you to all the team at Mt Hutton I will continue to bring all my babies to you guys for years to come!

Love the way my dog gets so excited going there. Have saved my dogs life many years ago. I always get texts to give me reminders for vaccinations or check ups. I have my dog groomed there and board both my dog and cat whilst we're away. I buy all my cat & dog food there and they love it. Might cost a bit more but it's good for them both and they my babies so they should have what they like. Highly recommended.

I love the staff, they took care of my baby Harley when she had an eye issue. So happy they could see her last minute! Thank you guys so much

I will return to post a more worthy review, but this vet was recommended when we had an old cat emergency; faultless response, still another 24 hours of nonstop observation but there is a glimmer of hope now. Whichever way this goes, we are thoroughly impressed and grateful.
1+ YR UPDATE: Our kitty is as Herself as ever, although She and this old doglady have more than just an "understanding" nowadays 🙄
The 💛 vet stayed in touch by phone. Their concern was reassuring. We especially appreciated that they let us know when we were "in the clear" re: the paralysis tic they found and treated - then left us to it.
