Not a bad feed. The seating areas include indoors and outdoors with a big tv to watch sports.

We had a great lunch here, very friendly staff, good food.

Stayed for two nights, food was awesome, well priced drinks, rooms nice and tidy with easy access, lovely staff and nice locals. Loved the big screen outside for the footy also. Will definitely be back to stay and explore more of the town and outskirts

Large family gathering was catered for very professionally, kids first, then all meals delivered together, steak cooked perfectly. New fit-out very nice, plenty of room. Latest visit, the ribs were 10/10, delicious

Food was brilliant - we had a delicious and innovative salad for lunch. Then we shared a full Rack and a green salad for dinner.
We asked for it to be served on the upstairs verandah which brought back memories of 40 years ago. The Rack was delicious.
The room was clean, bright and airy - all you could ask for!

Had an overnight stay, room was clean, tidy and comfortable. I left a personal item behind and they posted it back to me. Very thoughtful.

Outstanding customer service by all the staff, from planning the special event, right through to the very end of the night. Not one of my "special" requests, were a problem!

We had a beautiful dinner here. The staff are super friendly and the locals are the same. Good old fashioned pub. We played the pokies and had a good win here also.

Had dinner last night it was delishious as always. I had the Barramundi very nice best i have had in a few months and we eat alot of seafood. Could i suggest galic prawns on the menu sometime as a summer dish. Great job Cheff.

Our group of hungry thirsty Mountain Bike Riders enjoyed superb food with excellent service from our two wait persons. My cheese and bacon burger was easily one of the best I've had and the fries served hot with just the right amount of salt on them. Desserts were sticky date pudding which was delicious and a crunchy chocolate brownie served in a long glass topped with good quality Ice Cream. I enjoyed a Boulters Cloudy ale, a boutique beer similar to Little Creatures but maybe even better. Our whole group enjoyed their lunch and we will definitely be going back.

Stopped in for lunch,great food good beer price es and a happy hour on Saturday 2pm till 4pm.lovely under cover outdoor area and massive TV.will be a regular over footy season.

The food here is great. All of our meals were excellent, I recommend having a meal here. The atmosphere was relaxed as well.

If you want a great affordable meal in a relaxed rustic Pub atmosphere, this is the place to go. My Wife and I have been going here for just about every Thursday (date night) for the past 6 months. The food is outstanding and is actually made by a true Chef! even the other staff call their Chef "Chef" out of respect for their culinary skills. After 5 years of "Date night" going to a different place around Newcastle and the Hunter eating at the top reputable restaurants. We went to this little pub once due to a friends suggestion and we have not wanted to go anywhere else since. They have set the bar so high that even a $100 steak elsewhere just does not cut it. They change their Specials (the more upmarket meals) weekly so there is always something new to try. Do yourself a favour, if you are a "foody" like my wife and I, Give this place a go. You wont regret it.

My partner and I (Andrew) go there all the time. The staff are friendly, the food is always amazing and for a pub that is under renovation the atmosphere is spectacular. Its a real comfortable pub to be at. We will continue to be regular customers.

So I took my friend out for lunch today for her birthday. We went to @homesvillehotel It’s the first time either of us had been there for 25+ years.
Staff were tip top & the food.... omg, the food was nothing short of amazing with generous helpings of everything & tasted divine.
The salt & pepper squid you see in the photos was a starter size, as were the chicken wings... Yes, you read that right. I honestly should’ve just ordered that alone. The salmon on the specials board was cooked to perfection & the sweet potato ‘mash’ bed it was sitting on was the most silky I had I had ever tasted. It was like velvet in your mouth, yes really! Plenty of gluten free options too. The garlic bread in the pic below was GF.
Highly recommend a visit to this place & will definitely be returning there & I suggest you all try it out too! 10/10
