I have been coming here for years for date night and also Had group bookings with large people. The food is always amazing and the service is super friendly and accommodating.

Have mostly been here for dinner with the lunch specials are absolutely insane and so well priced

A great spot with a fantastic view over the lake. A great drinks menu and the food is top notch. Have had the seafood platter for two before and recommend that, this time I had the surf n turf and my wife had the chicken, can’t go wrong with either.

All five of us are lushes, and all five of us were thrilled. Food was amazing, seafood fresh and sweet. Steak brilliant and drinks also perfect. Service was just as it should be, professional, not OTT, just right. We'll be back. One of the best.

Fantastic food and great service. Family milestone birthday dinner. We had cocktails, mains and highly recommend the deserts.

Great spot in Warners Bay. Food delicious, atmosphere warm and welcoming, great views and absolutely love the lighting over the roof. Seafood Platter was fresh and tasty. Staff friendly, patient and kind. Will be back.

Today was my first visit (lunch) to Brownsugar Restaurant and I will definitely go again. We were a table of 10 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful waters of Warners Bay.

Absolutely love this restaurant after our second visit for my mother in law’s 88th birthday lunch. The view is amazing and the service from all the staff was excellent as it was quite busy but still managed to do an amazing service. I would definitely recommend going here for a meal bookings are essential for the place as it has a great name for itself. To all the staff and the owners keep doing what you do best and that is excellent customer service.

We went to brown sugar for dinner last night 25/08/23. Everything was top tier, the server Bernadette was amazing, with drinks - entrees - mains - desserts. She was on top of it and provided a great service!! I wanted to switch out the cut of meat on one of the Main dishes and she helped us make it possible. Truly appreciative of the chefs and bernadette! The chefs made the most amazing food, we were so full and happy when we left. I would highly recommend anyone coming here!

We had our daughters christening reception in the Brownsugar function room with the 2 course lunch and we were blown away with the whole experience. A huge thank you to Bernadette for coordinating our 100 guests and accommodating everyone’s dietary requirements and to the chefs for making everything so delicious. Well we finally made it to this restaurant after I was not able to make it there in December 2022 due to serious health complications. I must must say we loved the service and the food was outstanding. To all of the staff a job well done tables service was the best I’ve had for a while keep up the good work. To the chef absolutely delicious flavours were right up there and well presented food. I would definitely recommend this place for an exceptional meal.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. Great food, great service, great value meals and a wonderful view! This was our first visit, but we will definitely be back.

Had such a lovely 85th birthday celebration here today. The care they took for the birthday girl to get up and out of the chair lift was most appreciated. Great value lunch and we had the best steaks and prawns in a long time. One med rare one well done. Both ready at same time cooked just how we like it. Finished with desserts and a watermelon cocktail. Highly recommend the food, views and service 👌🏽

Utterly delightful experience! It was the best meal we've had in a very long time. We went for the 2-course lunch for $30 each. The staff were professional and friendly. Lovely views over Lake Macquarie. I wish we lived closer so we could frequent this gorgeous restaurant.
The Normandie Chicken fillet, the Pork Belly and Lemon Lime tart were made to perfection. Highly recommended.

Excellent food!! We had the oysters and grilled Octopus entrees and they were delicious and fresh. The mains were all hot, tasty and cooked perfectly. Staff were very friendly and the local ipa from maltnhops was really good!! Desserts were amazing as well. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful setting, amazing staff, food, service and atmosphere. Shared an early Mother's Day dinner with my mum, would definitely recommend and will definitely return. 😊

This place is an amazing establishment.

We recently held a celebration at brown sugar during their lunch service. The menu is exceptionally great value for money, has a wide variety of options to cater for all dietary requirements and most importantly, tastes amazing!

Bernadette is so lovely to work with and made the whole lunch run so Smoothly. The waitstaff (Anika was our server) were friendly and professional. Another waitress (whose name I didn’t catch sorry) was arriving to work as we arrived and stopped to assist my grandma into the restaurant using the chair lift. Nothing was an hassle. All of our guests enjoyed their meal (and dessert). I can’t recommend this place enough!

pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, we went on a very hot day and it was perfect inside the restaurant. We booked because of the advertised $30 lunch special, we were expecting small portions and limited options. However the choices were extensive, generous and tasty. The cakes...wow what a variety. They were delicious and good sized portions, a great venue

Went there for a birthday lunch on a Saturday. The place was packed by 12:30, and the service was still good. We ordered the Seafood platter between three of us and it was amazing- more than enough food, with very fresh and tasty seafood with minimal deep frying. The best we have ever eaten. You need to book as it is very popular.
