We arrived half hour early on check in and and we didn't have to wait before long. The staff was efficient, friendly, and helpful.

Ok so the rooms are not the best. But I DO NOT CARE, like it was so cheap and the views of the lake were stunning we where just on the lake with a private jetty it was gorgeous. Like they could be charging so much more just for location. The staff where super kind and friendly when we arrived, I found the cleaners where not invasive on my room and they left it the way the found it. I actually definitely will come back here again. Thanks guys :)

Nice little rooms, equipped with microwave, kettle and tuned TV. I liked the wainscoting appearance and the linen was beautifully crisp and white. We had two rooms which were largely the same with three beds each, but we picked the one with the nicer decor and bigger bag rack and put the teenagers in the other one.
Seating was provided in the room with a small table and chairs, and outside with a bench outside the door.
Service was great on arrival and the receptionist showed us the BBQ area and walked us to the room.
Good location with walking distance to the shops and the Gunyah Hotel for a pub lunch/dinner.
Lovely views from the restaurant of the lake, and a jetty and grassed area where you can sit to watch the sunset over the lake.
The restaurant had a good selection of nice food on the menu but it wasn't a cheap meal. The bar looked great too and a beautiful spot to sit for a relaxing drink. The bar looks put over the jetty and has access through reception and also by the lake with outdoor seating.
The only thing we didn't like was the toilet in our room- it flushed so forcefully it wet the seat each time it was flushed and flicked water out at us while we pushed the button.
Overall, recommended. A great little stay.

Overnight stay. Beautiful spot on the lake. Adjoining restaurant perfect for a drink watching the sunset or BYO and sit on the grass outside your room.
Room was well maintained and clean. Everything for an overnight stay. We stayed in carpark facing downstairs room.
On our visit hotel was mid renovation and you can tell this place will be a gem on the lake going forward.

The hotel was an amazing place. It's located just off the shore of lake Macquarie. Was a very picturesque view and with nice seating areas, it's prime location to relax. The rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable. Also very very reasonable for the price as well.

The owner Andrew also upgraded us free of charge to the spa room. And also kindly gave us TWO rooms as he could not get a spare bed in to the spa room!! Very kind and generous person. The spa themselves was amazing as was the huge showers!

The location of the hotel was very convenient with only minutes drive to shops. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. I would definitely go back to stay at the hotel if given the chance!

Room was cosy and small compared to other motels but the bathroom was spacious and clean. hot water ran quickly - had the best shower during my travels!

We were pleasantly surprised by the value of our stay. For the price the room was better than we expected. I left something behind and they offered to mail it to me. Owner took time to have a conversation with us. Nice.

I haven't stayed in a motel for a long time and had plenty of bad experiences from all my last ones from cleanliness, attempt of theft from the staff, and lack of amenities. This place is so clean, the building seems old but extremely well maintained. Beautiful view from the back of a massive lake and even local ducks we could feed which my daughter enjoyed.
Upgrades are still on the way from the looks of the constructions which I'm looking forward to its completion
I will most certainly come back with my tiny family day out as my overnight visit was most needing a few more extra days of stay as the town this hotel is in is a very pleasant and quiet place to chill out away from the insane sydney metro area

The room clean and tidy the cleaner khairol helpful and friendly. Walking distance to cafe and restaurant.the place very quiet. The receptionist and cleaners take care guests.They provide free parking.

For what we paid ($160)you couldn’t ask for more, very clean comfortable rooms without paying through the nose. Service over the phone was spot on too. Will definitely stay again.

Great location and a perfect view of the lake. Lots of outdoor areas to just sit and enjoy a sunset on the lake.

I have stayed here several times and the rooms are always clean and comfortable.
I recommend booking early and locking in a lake view room.

There is a large jetty that I like to sit on in the afternoon and feed the fish and the pelicans.

The team of staff are very friendly and will always bend over backwards to make my stay enjoyable.
It's only a few minutes walk to the pub and the yacht club.
It also has a covered bbq area that I have used many times when I can't be bothered heading out.
Just a great place with loads of character.
Highly recommended.
Great place to spend a few nights on your way through to break up the trip.

Friendly receptionist, clean & small room all you need, coffee, tea, a TV Hair dryer, we had the lake view. At the moment they are doing some renovations but the work stoped at 3.30pm and enjoyed a quite evening. Will be back and will recommend.

Staff was very attentive. Beautiful sunset. We had a room upstairs overlooking the lake. Magical sunset. Rooms small but bed comfy and very clean. I would recommend this place to everyone. Not a five star resort but has all you need for comfort. Very old motel that needs a lot of repairs but again good staff and comfy bed.

We had a great time staying in a waterfront room that opened onto a huge paved area overlooking the black swans on the lake. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and happily guided us to local attractions and features. The grounds and hotel jetty were a beautiful backdrop for photos so make sure you take a camera. The bed in the room was a big comfy king-size and the room had all you needed, and was really clean with great views from the room and outdoor tables and chairs.
A great getaway from Sydney for couples. Definitely recommend

The room was a bit small but very clean and comfortable, with all basics for staying a night or two. There is a beautiful view on the lake to enjoy sunset. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We will come back again
