Rottnest Island Airport

We booked a 20 minute scenic 'Joy Ride' a day before from Sealink for $100/pp. The flight departs from Rottnest Island Airport, and we got there by bike. The pilot is the only staff member, so if you can't find anyone at his desk, he's probably flying. But there is also a skydiving counter at the airport. The plane has a capacity of 6 passengers (including the pilot).

Our scenic flight gave us amazing views of Rottnest Island and the surrounding waters. We were even lucky enough to spot some whales! The pilot was very professional and accommodating. He was also very helpful, and he even helped me ride my father's bike back to the bike rental shop as he headed to the main area (my father had previously injured his leg so he needs to rest and take a bus).

We had a very pleasant experience with Joy Ride at Rottnest Island. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable way to see the island.

They should really expand the airport, that's how busy it is. I think it is mostly because of all the international flights.
