Tremendous experience offered by the friendly and knowledgable staff member working here who gave us an impromptu and not-requested tour of the place after we casually strolled in to the place. Worth checking out if you're already visiting the gardens.

One of the most exciting discoveries in South Sydney. Suitable for adults and children, with fascinating plant facts and interesting displays. The visitor's area can be perused within an hour, and in that time one comes away with great info. It's a great building too. Loved the moss and lichen garden.

Really interesting place. There's only a few seed banks in the world and there's one in Sydney! Just wow! Inside the place is super cool, you can see where scientists collect seeds, etc. I was there for a private function and it fitted about 120 of us for dining. I will be definitely going back to spend more time.
