Dr Robert Yap - Casula Medical Clinic

Dr Yap has been my family doctor for the past 35 years from the good old Austral days. He has been a fantastic GP for my family and myself, even to this day we make the trip to Casula for a consult. He is very professional and goes without saying still our family doctor after 35 years, he is a damn good doctor and these days they are hard to find.

Dr. Yap makes me and my family stayed and always visit him since we moved to casula area few years ago. His like our family advisor to us, whenever we have a problem he gives a good advice. all my children’s loves him.
His very fun attentive doctor. I dont know where i can find another smart great dr since we met him.

Dr Yap is a great general practitioner. One of the best I have ever come across and certainly in this region. Extremely professional and thorough. Also, he has a wonderful bedside manner. The surgery is very nice and modern and all the staff are courteous and kind. Can not speak highly enough of the team there.
Additional: I have now been going there for over two years. I still can highly recommend Dr Robert Yap (and the other doctors at the practice when he's been unavailable) without hesitation. They really are extremely thorough and also kind. The receptionists also always go above and beyond. 10 out of 10.

Dr Yap is by far the best GP i have been to. The nurse and other staff are also incredibly nice and helpful.

Excellent Doctor with personalised service

Dr Yap was my family Dr for over 20 years, a couple of years ago he sold the practice & left, without informing me. The new Drs who bought his practice became my new Dr. My new Dr has a family medical emergency overseas so she has been away for 2 weeks, hence I made an appointment with Dr Yap, half an hour before my appointment his office manager rang me and very very rudely told me she had cancelled my appointment and not to come & make arrangements elsewhere because they wouldn't see patients from his old practice. So much for the oath he took help & care for sick people. I would advise any one who needs medical help to find a more caring Dr.

Is there an option to put no star? Is the doctor actually good when prescriptions are handed out like candy? And the receptionist "Susan" - wow what a mouth and attitude. Besides, since when is the receptionist qualified to speak on behalf of the consulting doctor? Steer clear and find another doctor.
UPDATE: Interesting how the responses to negative comments are very heated and detailed. Yet when a telephone call for discussion is made, there's no return call, instead shut down by the so-called receptionist, "Susan".

Absolutely the least organised practice in the south west & they staff will blame you for their own dilemmas one day the son (who works at the practice) drove into the mums car and the mum come out and blamed the ppl in the waiting room till she went and told her son someone has hit my car and when he walked out it was hes car 😅
