A standout replica of The HMB Endeavour that must be seen to be truly appreciated.
The attention to detail & workmanship throughout the 30 metre ship is truly astounding . The galley & areas below the deck would have been a vertical challenge for tall folks back in the day .

The HMB Endeavour Replica is one of the ships/features in the Australian National Maritime Museum located on Pyrmont in Sydney. The visit to the Endevour is included in the visit to the museum and other house vessels (e.g., Submarine HMAS Onslow, Destroyer HMAS Vampire). Going inside the Endeavour was an eye opener for me because I never realized how it was to stay on cramped accommodation. A must visit for everyone.

The volunteers were awesome and very informative! The ship is really cool and really gives you an idea of what it would have been like to live on it for months at an end while crossing the seas.

A great working example of an 18th century sailing ship. I sailed aboard her to Hobart, which was an experience I'll cherish.

The volunteer crew is well informed and have good knowledge of the mission of the original Endeavour. If you learnt about Luitenant Cook and the landing at Botony Bay, this visit is worth making. The Museum has other boats on show too, including a submarine, a destroyer and a tall ship.

Being part of the working crew doing round the clock watches was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I am so glad I took up sailing from Port Adelaide to Albany. Tried very hard to learn the infinite amount of ropes. Captain Peter Blake was the most respected and inspiring lead on the ship and voyage.

I came here with my children and the volunteers made sure they had a wonderful time onboard. Each part of the ship has been meticulously researched before it was rebuilt and the volunteers gave us a great historical insight into one of the most important ships in Australian history.

How easy and comfortable has travelling become today! Even in a 380 or a 747 or 777 economy cabin. Because it takes you only a bit more than a day to get to the other side of the world... But would we dare what our ancestors did???

Very interesting replica of a historic ship. I got frustrated with a parent telling her kids it was a "pirate" ship.

Staffed by volunteers who are a wealth of knowledge makes this well worth while.
