Updated review (Jan2023) - recently visited there with the family and the food was once again fantastic. The staff is very friendly, we had asked for tava roti(not on the menu), and they honoured our request. The chef came out to see if food was ok, we spoke for a bit, he was great. Everything we ordered tasted excellent and presented beautifully.

Review from 2020 - Got a pretty sweet deal on their specials. 4 course lunch meal for two w/ glass of wine exceeded our expectations. Papadams w/ mango chutney to start with; chicken tikka and sheek kebab for appetisers; mains was chicken tikka masala n goat curry accompanied by garlic naan and saffron rice. Mango n pistachio kulfi for dessert (forgot to take pics). Everything was super tasty, presented well and in good portion. Recommend this place to anyone craving for good Indian food👌

Very warm and welcoming service by jasbina. I had a dal tadka and a garlic naan, the naan was very well and evenly cooked and dal tadka was really really impressive.

This little spot has to be one of the best Indian restaurants in Sydney. I've been here twice in a week as their curries are so delicious.... i have tired a few int he area and this is just the best and so underrated. Their butter chicken and paneer Tikka masala is amazing. Their garlic Naan omg its to die for.

Amazing flavours and colours jumping out at you from every single plate, depth in texture of sound as you feel the heat rising from steaming plates of deliciousness. It may be the North Shore but this is one Indian restaurant you should not miss!

Good behaviour and kindness makes the food tastes even better. Amazing staff and service. Very professional from Anup to make sure everything is perfect. Love the vibe at this restaurant and the flavours.

Food is delicious, my husband and I ordered one Butter chicken, one cheese and garlic naan, one cheese and spinach naan. Butter chicken was so tasty and chicken was tender. Naan bread is fresh, soft and fluffy.
Service is great, the girl asked us if we are having a good experience and we thought this was a nice touch.
Atmosphere is really lovely, we came in the evening, 8pm. Music is not so loud which is good and bathroom is nice.
My first time here was almost 2 years ago! And every other visit has been positive. Zinger Tah is a great place to have here in our local. I’ll return again with family and friends.

I chose this place because the signature dishes looked very interesting and novel, which were created by the chef on premises. I tried the almond mango chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The food overall was very flavorsome, satisfying and not heavy or oily like some places.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful and gave really good menu advice.

I'm definitely coming back here again, and I recommend it for a cheeky lunch or a nice dinner

Good quality and great taste. Also check Groupon deals when visiting this place. Service is awesome, very kind. We relished entree, mains and dessert. Better to get reservation as it is crowded at times.

I love this restaurant! My husband and I will eat here literally every time we visit Sydney. The food is outstanding! Last week we got the vegetarian entree platter, dahl makhani and palak paneer. All were fantastic!

We sat inside this time but I noticed they have heaters outside too.

I love Zinger Taj Indian Restaurant! I travel a lot for work and just happened to discover the restaurant through the area where I stay. Travelling means I eat in various restaurants across the country and I can honestly say Zinger Taj Indian Restaurant is my favourite Indian Restaurant in Australia! I now live in Sydney (even though I continue to travel) and I regularly order the tastes of India that melt on the palette with much joy and pleasure. I cannot fault any dish! Delivery is always an ease and handed over with a smile and warm wishes. Thank you for your excellent food and excellent service. James

Best Indian food in Sydney! This is our go-to spot for curry. Even though we moved away we still take trips here just to order their incredible takeaways. The staff are always so friendly and professional. Prices are very reasonable especially for the finest quality curry! Perfectly spiced and absolutely tender. We love the tikka chicken masala, vindaloo, goat curry and Naan. They even make their own mint chocolate as an after-dinner snack.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that perfectly balances the spicy flavours of Indian cuisine with the sweetness of Western dishes. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a culinary treat.

We are regulars at this excellent restaurant. 4 mature Brits who know their curries and we all agree this venue offers some of the best food at reasonable prices with friendly service available in the area - and we have tried many of the others. Only disappointment was the vegetarian platter a bit bland compared to the other delicious dishes! Owners keep up the great work.
