Wheeler's Seafood Restaurant & Oyster Bar

If you like a seafood platter there is a lot to like at Wheeler's. When we arrived we had mixed up our booking time but the staff were very understanding and accommodating. They were able to find us a table (on New year's Eve) in five minutes. The staff were very helpful with drinks choices and the food was outstanding. The only problem was finding a park when we arrived as this establishment is rightly popular, both for dining in and for take away.

This is a gorgeous restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.
The staff were also lovely and attentive.

A fabulous birthday dinner included king prawn risotto and a delicious espresso martini. Great, friendly service from Sarah and a lovely table made it a perfect evening.

Went for dinner on a Monday night. We shared Oysters which were sensational. Husband then had King Fish and Scallops (2 different dishes), both were divine. I had Sword Fish with sweet potatoe chips and salad. Absolutely divine. Service exceptional. Definitely be back. Thank you, as we were on our honeymoon and we had a wonderful romantic evening xx

Well, the smile from a warm and friendly lady that greets you as you enter the restaurant sets the setting for the most amazing dining experience. Seriously incredible oysters with an oyster liquid garnish that will make your taste buds go in to celebration mode. The prawn with a sweet sauce again launched the taste buds into harmony. Sweet potato chips were off the charts,. Something seriously unique about this place, I think I found my saphire coast Goto restaurant You should start to get the point I am making, this is top 5 restaurants I have ever been to in terms of warmness of staff and owner as well as taste buds celebrations.

First time coming to wheelers for dinner and it did not let me down. For my birthday mum and I went out and enjoyed the seafood platter for 2. It isn't a dinner to be had to fill you up, it's more for the experience of tasting all the different sea foods they had to offer. Definitely worth trying out at least once a year for a special occasion. Thank you to the beautiful waitress who took our photo as well.

Attended for a birthday party and gender reveal. Staff are great to deal with allowed us to bring a cake & let off some confetti very helpful and accomodating for the large group meals were great. Highly recommend for a small event although discuss splitting bills ect prior as this was almost problematic

I’d come just for the Fish n Squid n Prawn n chips! Just nice batter that is not too thick and over fried with a nice hint of salt and pepper. Potatoes crisp and not oily. Nice ambience. What else?!

Definitely on the higher end of prices, but very good quality fresh food and amazing staff. Make it truly an experience. The food had wonderful and interesting flavours

Lovely restaurant ! I took the hot oysters with the creamy white sauce / cheese, it was delicious ! The wine was good and the service, nothing bad to say. I recommend !

First time and we weren’t disappointed! The service from Sarah and the other staff was outstanding! The food was excellent! The oysters were perfect! We had steak and pork followed by sticky date pudding and the black forrest pavlova, both delicious desserts! We will definitely be back and recommend it to all our friends. The only disappointment was we were seated close to 2 large groups and the acoustic's made it a bit noisy.

An amazing place to go for an experience on fine dining. The meals were exquisite, the proportions perfect and the staff are wonderful. I was amazed by their attention to detail, they had delectable entrees mains and deserts.
Our only disappointment was, it's not lobster season so there were none for the seafood platter. We had other seafood instead. I highly recommend stopping by to spoil your taste buds.

Shocking weather to be going to lunch, but so glad we did. Switched on Team, lovely place, oysters and food were fabulous. Had an absolutely fantastic time.

I had an amazing dining experience last night at Wheeler's Seafood restaurant Pambula. The occasion was my 60th birthday. Right from the beginning the attention to detail, service & staff were exceptional. Our entrée, main & dessert were all superb. To top things off the staff served my dessert with a candle and then sang happy birthday. It was a most enjoyable evening and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Wheeler’s is a must-try if you are in the area and enjoy a great place. The staff was extremely kind, the interior is beautiful and food was delicious. We had oysters, quail, cod and steak. Each one of these dishes were finger licking good.

After a bit of a rocky spell post Covid, Wheelers is right back at the top of it’s game. Food was delicious especially the lamb backstrap and the fish in miso broth, service was friendly and efficient and prices reasonable. The wine list was excellent as always.

Great experience
The serves are small and risotto was lovely but to be called a bug and prawn risotto and only have one king prawn in it was a bit disappointing. Scallops were lovely and the chips were the best gluten free chips we have ever had!
Can’t fault the service it was efficient and friendly
