Mio Dolce

From the quick and friendly service to the delicious desserts, Mio Dolce took our breath away! The owner was so kind, and the other employees had great smiles on their faces. The desserts were truly delicious. The touch of jam on the cannolis was genius, my husband and I couldn’t get enough! The cheesecake pairs well with a nice cup of coffee. If you’re looking for a sweet treat (or a few!) in Moonee Ponds, this is the best cafe to go to.

This is a proper old school patisserie.

They have a really good selection of cakes and savoury items.

The service is excellent - attentive and friendly.

Best of all the coffee is excellent. Made with care and attention and it’s hot too.

Beautiful homemade cakes, lovely texture and not to sweet the way my family and I like it, my little boy eat the volcano chocolate cake like no other, wifey enjoy the Black Forest too, toblerone cheese cake was pleasant as well, cheers to the hardworking staff at Mio Dolce Mooneponds

For several years, I have been coming here to satisfy my craving for cake. The cake has always been consistently good, the staff friendly, and the coffee delicious.

Mio Dolce is our go to place for spectacular Birthday Cakes! For a dinner party you can’t beat the Moulin Rouge Mousse Cake. And we’ve had delicious large occasion cakes from Mio Dolce too

Totally loved the berries cheesecake! Very fresh and balanced. Only comment is omitting the paper decoration at the bottom, cos it becomes soggy after cutting the 1st slice.

Such a comforting and enjoya experience here, the customer service was amazing and such friendly staff. Food and tea was delicious and location is stunning.

The display window @MioDolceCakes caught my eye walking past and had me drooling at the wonderful looking sweet creations. I settled on a couple of cannoli one filled with Italian custard and the other with ricotta. Both were crunchy on the outside and very tasty. Love the traditional ricotta version.

I also got a mini profitterole stack with soft choux pastry filled with a rich Italian custard and coated in a lovely layer of chocolate. I really enjoyed this.

Lastly, hard to go past the Toblerone cheesecake. Rich, chocolatey and delectable. A very naughty treat to enjoy during the day.

The BEST Cannoli's in Melbourne that I've ever tasted, they are full of flavour, not too sweet, just perfect. A colleague (Fracncis) brought these in for Morning Tea and they disappeared within seconds. I'm happy that I live close to your store and will be a repeat client going forward.

Hidden gem on Puckle Street, one of very few places where you can get a decent coffee after 3.30. Baked cheesecake to die for. Lovely service who always give a complimentary smile.

I am the owner of this pasticceria and just have to say it's disappointing how easy it is for one person to confuse them-self on the Internet. To the below comment (dahlia) you are talking about a different shop and u have mentioned our shop for bad publicity which for one we don't do omelettes!! But this review is for future people reading these comments that we take pride in what we create and have done this for 10 years and growing!

Been coming here for years, best coffee in Moonee ponds and the mud logs are yummm staff are lovely, very down to earth.

Excellent place for sweets, pastries and coffee. I often take away connoli from there, custard or ricotta. Also try their spanakopita.

Note: this is a cafe and patisserie not a restaurant. You can get food here but their specialities are shortbreads, pastries, coffees etc.

Ordered their beautiful fruit flan, a hazelnut cake and ice coffee: super happy with it all! I could honestly eat and endless supply of their fruit flan!!
