Authentic thai, lao cuisine with excellent pricing and portion size.
Located on a busy road with an inconspicuous shopfront, Poms Thai is definitely a top contender in this part of Sydney.
Inside you'll find a small, cosy and tidy space to dine-in for small families or couples. There is limited space within, however its well worth the wait if you're in the mood for Thai.

The food? Well portioned with excellent pricing. The soup is tasty and ingredients were fresh; the beef curry was tender, soft and not overpowered by seasoning. Tonights dishes were marinated and cooked nicely, just what you'd expect from mums cooking.

Would highly recommend for any passer by to give this place a chance or two if you're hesitating!

Been getting dinner (takeaway) from here for many years now and it's always very fresh and tasty. Dishes are full of flavor and are generous servings compared to other takeaways in the area. They do have a small eat area, but most customers are takeaway.

It's always a favourite for our family. I can certainly recommend them. Value for money!

Great family run Thai, moved from Burwood, same great chef! I simply love the Pad Thai. Open late!

Was in a rush to get somewhere so was looking for a quick bite along the way to our destination. Ordered takeaway from this place and was pleasantly surprised. We had the lunch special for the Chicken Penang Curry and Chicken Pad Khee Mao and were quite impressed. On top of being extremely affordable ($9.50 per meal), the flavours were delightful and delicious. So glad that we found this place and will definitely be coming back. The people there were also very friendly. Highly recommend!

I don't know how they do it. I am amazed. Such a quick service and the food is just amazing. If real good Thai food is what you want, this is the place in Sydney. I have ordered their Tom Yum fried rice many times, it is the best in Sydney. I cannot recommend it enough. Please keep up the great food, your resturant is a gem.

Great Restaurant, highly recommend! They were very accomodating of my dietary requirements, and along with the great tasting food, made sure I was well looked after. Will definitely be coming back here again, and suggesting this place to my friends!

On a rainy night their laska is absolutely delicious! So is everything else on the menu, well priced and generous serving portions. Staff a lovely too. Just remember it’s cash only

Have been coming to Pom's for years (from Burwood days). Great Food. Very reasonable prices. Generous portion sizes. Open till midnight for eat-in and take-away. Deco may not be great but if you are looking for great Thai food, this is THE PLACE.

Ordered takeaway first time recently and the food was really good. Ingredients tasted fresh, not oily, good portions, and cooked with care ie not slapped together. It also helped bumping into a former colleague that gave the place high regards. I recommend and will return

First time trying take away and I am glad I did.

The food is delicious. Except the spring roll. Too sweet for my liking.

I like the taste better than further down the road Thai restaurant Buddha Raksa also better value.

Even the restaurant was opened in Bette location and lighter interior I think it will have much more business.

I had Tom Yum Goong at Pom's Thai tonight , very very tasty! I had two bowls of rice with it. My son and my daughter are all like their dishes.

Love the food here. We get home delivery though as the place is quite small. Food has a Great flavor and generous portion sizes. I have been ordering from Poms for a while and would not buy from anywhere else. A great family run business. Highly recommend the food.

Bought takeaway during lockdown. Food arrived fast. We got the papaya salad, pad thai, basil stir fry and massaman and red curries. Generous portions and food was delicious! Papaya salad could have had more papaya though.

Extraordinary food! So tasteful! Me and my partner visited tonight, the food was great, the wait was about 10 minutes and the service by the young man at the counter was excellent.

Small family owned business with reasonable prices. Can't beat their lunch special deals which only cost $10.50.

Amazinggg food, got an uber eats at 2 am and the fried rice and spring roll so fresh n yummyyy! Truly satisfied my late night cravings, hats off to chef🤗
