Gleeson Wetlands

Fantastic facities easy walking and wheelchair accessible. Great birding and nice scenery for a lovely day out. Don't rush Aston's but take your time and you will enjoy as there is lots to see.

Have been here a few times before. It's a great little wetland area to stretch the legs or let the kids rum around. The ponds were nice and full, with plenty of bird life.

Lovely little spot that is reasonably quiet and frequented by friendly locals. Plenty of spots for picnics or bird watching. Very pleasant departure from busy spots in national parks around Adelaide and the NT without missing out on any of the nature.

Nice walking around the wetlands, several different routes to extend the distance. Pretty flowers were in bloom and we saw several different species of birds. We sat in the bird watching shelter for awhile in the hope of capturing some great shots but that wasn’t to be this time.

Great little place for a walk and a picnic

Great walking track, hide, etc.. Signage could do with upgrading as we missed that we had to park were the sign showed Gleeson Wetlands. We drove in further and found a spot and when we finished our walk and drove out, we were harassed for driving in where we did.
But still, it was worth the visit.

Visited the Wetlands today and had a great walk around, what a lovely place to relax and soak up some nature. I bumped into a lions club member who was doing some gardening and he told me the Wetlands although council built are maintained by the lions club. What a great thing to give back to the community and all its visitors. Well done lions club of Clare

Great walk, plenty of seating, wheelchair accessible and lots of birds. We had a great picnic with the family and loved the area.

A great place to spend a leisurely hour or two. A beautiful garden area with many species of native Australian plants, birds, and even turtles.
