Always come for the food! I drool every time I read the Specials board at the bar.

Check out their Chef's Specials blackboards, it's very seasonal and from my understanding, are local produce (as much as possible).

Update: tonight's visit, my group ordered flat head fillet with chips and salad, sirloin steak with Morton Bay bugs, and scotch fillet.

Yummy as always. Food came out very quickly, which I like, before their dinner rush.

Birthday celebrations for youngest son, turning 19.
Staff at venue were courteous, pleasant to deal with and very accommodating for our needs.
Multiple Spacious dining areas and absolutely terrific menu selection. All our party guests were impressed and satisfied with the selection.
Great place for a quiet drink or a celebration of any occasion.

Had a lovely lunch with my parents and some family friends. The supervisor/manager at the bar was helpful when one of our drinks wasn’t correct, and helped me bring our drinks to the table when my hands were full. The food was also great value, particularly the specials. The only downside was the near empty soap dispenser and lack of hand towels, but I simply suspect this this is the aftermath of a busy Sunday night! Otherwise the atmosphere was great and the place was clean and nicely decorated for Christmas. Would totally recommend if visiting or passing through

We had the chicken schnitzel surf and turf with hollandaise sauce served with chips and salad. Serving was huge, and it was incredible. The food has always been excellent, but today was exceptional. Highly recommended.

Cute country town pub with unsuspecting exterior however walk inside and you get the true country vibes.
Turn to the menu thoughtful in that there is something for everyone without being what everyone provides.

Some tasty roast veggie arancini balls and a halloumi burger later and we are some happy customers who just wanted a late afternoon feed and ended up having one of the best pub meals ever, I would be so happy to be served this in a dedicated restaurant it was delicious and fresh and so flavourful. Food also came out quickly which when your wanting a quick stop is so helpful

The beer and wine was also really good (and cold). And the staff really friendly

Best pub in Camden! Historic and family friendly. Magnificent food, wine and cocktails. This is the place to go for a meal and drinks before seeing the best Aussie comedians at the Civic Centre. Love sitting by the fireplaces or in the sunny back room. Can't do better than Plough & Harrow!

Absolutely 100% delicious food no more words needed. Fast and friendly service. But just incredible food the best pub in Camden by far.

A little confusing intially as the entry was from the back of the premises however I am assuming due to COVID. Although not great in appearance with a lack lustre appearance the service from the staff and the food that we ate was absolutely amazing. Don't get me wrong the hotel was very clean it just felt quite dark the further you went into the pub therefore made it unappealing. As I said though the staff were extremely nice and helpful and the food definitely would make us come back again.

Had a lovely meal with my wife (She is gluten intolerant) My Gnocchi meal was fabulous. Staff all friendly and helpful

the Irish trio on the first Sunday of every month is a must see and the food is very good

The pot pie & chips were absolutely fabulous. Pie was full of chunky steak & so much flavour, as for the chips, they were the best l ever remember. Well done to the kitchen. Thankyou.

Ate lunch here yesterday. Family and friends have been visiting on and off for quite a few years, we don't live in the area. We've never had a bad meal. The food and presentation is always spot on. I had the Crispy Skin Chicken. It was beautifully presented and delicious. The other person had the Chargrilled Sirloin Steak 300g which couldn't be faulted. Unfortunately I had a mishap with my meal, entirely my fault, and they very kindly replaced it free of charge even though I was quite prepared to pay for it. So thanks again to the lovely lady staff manager and the chefs for your kindness. We also like
the old feel of the building, it has great character, whilst the back area is open and light.

A proper locals pub with great food. Perfect place for a lunch with friends and dinner with the kids. Had my sons 2nd birthday here and can’t fault the staff they were amazing

Last minute mid week dinner with my granddaughter, the pub was relatively quiet, and the service can't be faulted. I asked for a high chair, and they happily provided one. The dining area was warm, cosy, and comfortable. Not overly noisy, and it was pleasant to be able to sit in relatively quiet circumstances after the hecticness that has been Christmas!
The salmon was lovely. However, the kids' meal was far too hot for a 2 year old to manage.
All in all, it was a good pub meal and the atmosphere relaxed and cosy.

Nice atmosphere. Good food. I had the hamburger which was very nice.
My friend had the ceaser salad which didn't have enough dressing. The staff happily provided a little jug more. Overall , a nice place to eat.

Ordered the salmon tonight and it was absolutely perfect. Thanks chef for the best crispy skin Salmon, chats and brocollini. We will be back very soon.

I had the lunch special of Beef and Ale pie and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly & the Sticky Date Pudding with butterscotch sauce and icecream was the perfect dessert.
