Iluka Bluff lookout

Had a great hike from our campground in Iluka along the beautiful beach to here. Nice to have the public toilets after a long walk in the hot sun and lots of water. Great views of the ocean from the top. Didn't see any whales although lots of false alarms that were just big whitecaps. Saw quite a few kangaroos in the parking lot and around the rock pools. You can see lots of sea eagles(?) riding the thermals looking for a meal.

Wow! A very picturesque combination of short bush walk, rock walls, flat stoney beach and open flat sandy beach. Bring your camera and a picnic😊

Great view from the Bluff. We saw 2 different types of eagles flying around and lots of whales splashing around. It's nice and peaceful being up there.

It was beautiful lookout with stunning view

Beautiful spot - nice and quiet stroll along the beach with nice cafe for afterwards. Beware the cafe was closing around lunchtime in wintertime though!

Another beautiful head along the New South Wales coast line. There are a resident whistling kite and Brahminy kite flying around, but I was too slow to capture them. We did find a legless lizard though

Nice walk from the golf club to the beach, enjoyed the rain forest & the coffee on return from @thelittlelocalcafe

Beautiful secluded beach access with stunning landscape. Access road is a bit rough.

Fabulous place for a swim and walk along the beach

A very tidy setup with ample parking a well maintained path to the top and environmental toilets. Look up, look down and look around... Well Done

Great views and pretty nice beach 🏖

Iluka Bluff is well worth a visit. To stand at the lookout, with wind buffeting around your arms, facing the immense might of the ocean, is a truly special experience.
There are also (very convenient) toilets.

Beautiful place to sit and admire the views

Beautiful view but make sure you are prepared to deal with the mosquitoes as you walk to the lookout. Don't forget to check out the beach to the left of the entrance to the lookout - the rock pools will prove to be a great delight to the little ones, as well as plenty of sea shells to collect 😀

The lookout is a fairly easy walk, even with two small kids (though ended up carrying one), and the rock pools below (at low tide) provide hours of paddling and jumping. Great spot for families!

Really enjoyable walk on the beach at 6 in the morning and walk the boardwalk to the lookout just a great little time well spent ..great ocean views and bush trail to return .Iluka is just a lovely holiday spot...

A great place to visit with beautiful beaches,rock formations and Gray views from the lookout. Well worth the visit
